CHAPTER 2

They arrived at the club. On the lintel of the building read “Pleasure city”

Lily took Aria in hand and walked into the club.

Men of different ages stared at her, Aria felt so uncomfortable and tried to pull down her crop top to cover her belly.

“Don't you think this skirt is too short? she tried to pull down the skirt, Lily made her wear which seemed extremely short.

Lily yanked her hands off.

“Stop it,Aria. It's just today relax and have fun.”

Her eyes grew wide on the series of activities going on. She had never been to a club before.

Some naked girls were dancing and wriggling their bodies on a pole, people were openly making out with each other,

“Jeez, what am I seeing” She muttered

“It's just for today” she exhaled and encouraged herself.

She led her to what looked like the bar.

Lily knew places like this. She went once in a while but Aria never followed her. But today was different.

“You can sit here, I will be back soon just keep yourself busy with a drink, I'll be back before you know it”

Lily said

Aria looked worried

“I can't do this lily…”

Without waiting for her to complete her sentence, She ran to the dance floor to join the tons of indecently dressed individuals in dancing. The crowd was wild, everyone was lost in the moment as they danced the night away.

Looking at the dance floor, feeling the bass of the music pulsing through her body. Aria had come here, encouraged by lily to forget her problems for a little while.

She sighed and looked around.

The next thing that caught her attention was a naked girl having a threesome with some guys. Her eyes nearly popped out. Goosebumps were everywhere.

She looked down at her nails afraid that she will see something more outrageous if she looked again.

She was oblivious to everything around and wanted to be with to be with Lily. Now Lily had ran off leaving her behind.

“What can I get you?” The bartender asked, suddenly startling her.

Aria didn't know what to drink at all, she was speechless on what to order for herself.

“A glass of juice would do please”

She looked at the bartender innocently after taking a century to decide.

The people around her giggled,looking at her strangely.

Aria noticed the weird look of the people around her.

“Sorry, we don't serve non-alcoholic drinks here”

She toughened up thinking of what to do. She couldn't afford to be taken as a weakling or a nerd.

“Ben, another round please," someone gestured to the bartender.

He had been looking at her from the opposite side where she sat.

Under his gaze, Aria felt so warm and fuzzy as he kept staring at her which made her spine tingle. He was gorgeous.

“Give her the same thing, bills on me”

She let out a deep sigh, feeling the weight of the present predicament on her shoulders lifted. Where was Lily in times like this when she needed her.

She turned to look at her saviour. He was looking handsome in his suit with a Chestnut hair, his sea blue eyes roamed around her body, caressing her looks. he smirked biting his lower lips, his fingers stood straight on the desk with his fingers interlocked. his chin rested on them, his charisma blew her away, he was flirting with her through his eyes, lust filled in his expression. She couldn't resist.

He didn't take his eyes off her even after speaking with the bartender.

Their eyes locked and they both stared at each other for along moment, untill Aria turned her eyes away.

She never had time to notice guys, she only had eyes for work and money. Trying to survive in the situation she found herself daily but something about him was intriguing.

She faced the bartender who brought her drink trying to ignore the racing thoughts in his mind.

She scanned her bottle and poured for herself and drowned the liquid with a low moan, feeling a burning sensation in her throat. It was quite pleasing to her tongue, she gulped more and more without realizing she was at the end of the bottle.

Suddenly, She felt something on her back, and She turned slowly, now in a drunken state making it difficult for her to focus well.

“Enjoying yourself already? Wanna hookup? I could get you more drink if that's what you want” He asked giving her a dashing smile, not even sparing her a chance to say something.

Aria stared at him for a while, expecting herself to reject it. Unfortunately she couldn't, how he could pinpoint the fact that she wanted more of the drink was alluring and sweet to her.

He was too sweet to ignore.

"I'm not sure" She said instead.

What was she doing trying to do? hook up with a guy? maybe she was just drunk.

"I know a place” he said with a seductive smile

Aria blinked her eyes in suspicion for a second

“A place?"

“Yes, or are you a virgin” he asked with doubt.

“And who told you I'm a virgin” she asked irritably

“You are” he sounded so sure.

“I’m not” she argued, The alcohol now really affected her.

“How about you show me?

“Sure” Aria replied fully under the influence of alcohol.

He held her hands and led her out of the bar to God knows where.

The sun rays passed through the window.

Aria woke up to the throbbing pain of her womanly part. Was her period coming? She wondered and forced herself up.

She opened her eyes and was welcomed by an unfamiliar room, and she was confused about how she ended up there.

Suddenly a memory flashed in her mind- a night of passion with a man, a stranger. How was it even possible? She wondered the scene of leaving the nightclub and hooking up replayed in her head.

She was startled when she looked around the room and saw a young handsome guy sleeping by her side peacefully and so much engulfed in the duvet. It had to be the man she just slept with. She hit her head in disappointment. how could she be so cheap?

She quickly got up from the bed and gathered her clothes that were scattered all over the floor. Then headed for the door without a second to look.

Just immediately, she heard something buzzing.
