A Night With The Alpha

CHAPTER 3

Aria checked the caller on her phone it was Sienna. She felt annoyed at her. She declined the call, turned off her phone and threw it inside her bag and left the room without looking back.

Tears streamed down her face. She wept like a baby. How would she make such a mistake? Her parents will be ashamed of her.

She soaked herself inside her bathtub at home. She scrubbed and cleaned her entire body with tears in her eyes.

“I messed up” She kept crying, myttering to herself.

How could I make such a mistake with someone whom I probably may not ever see again.

After bathing, she wrapped herself in a towel and dejectedly stepped out of the bathtub. She felt so down and mad at herself. She dressed up and lay down on her bed in her wallowing in self-pity.

Suddenly, the door popped open, Aria jerked up, in a bid to hide.

She thought it was her father at it again. Lily strolled in with a worried look.

“Gosh, Aria you scared me. I literally looked for you everywhere. When did you return because I have been looking for you everywhere.

Lily asked but Aria totally ignored her, she was mad at her for making her go clubbing. This is all her fault.

“Really, Aria you're ignoring me, after making me go round the whole city looking for you like a crazy woman. I even called your parents to know your whereabouts.”

Out of everything she said, the only thing Aria's ears grasped was the part where she called her parents.

“Why will you call my parents?” She asked in a fright.

The thought of her parents knowing what happened to her was the last thing she wanted her parents to know about.

She had been an only child, not like there were no other kids in her parents life aside her but they died at very young ages; two of them precisely died due to pack wars, it seemed like everytime there was a cub, pack wars happened. Her parents had to abandon them for their own safety since they could always get new cubs.

She happened to come along as well but there was no pack wars so they were elated and had many expectations of her.

But she didn't really turn out to be as bright and sharp as they wanted her to be.

They were both omegas but didn't want her to be an Omega too. Unfortunately she turned out to look like one.

They wanted many things for her in their head but things didn't go their way for them as they thought.

So they gave up on her gradually.

She was quite lucky coming back to the house and finding no one at home. It was her lucky day at least a good time for her to sulk.

“Letting my parents know about what whatever happened yesterday be will only kill whatever they had left for me”

Aria said and broke down in tears.

“I lost my dignity to a total stranger “ Aria sniffed.

Lily was shocked at first, but seeing her break down like a baby, she gave Aria a warm hug.

“It's alright,Aria. I know how you feel but it doesn't make you less human, I mean, I know I messed up too but you can't be too hard on yourself “ lily consoled her.

“I'm already alone, do you want me to be treated like an outcast in my house if my parents hear it?” Aria cried harder.

“Don't worry about it, I'm sure your parents will never get to hear of it trust me.”

Lily cuddled her up even more and patted her on the back.

Raein woke up in a daze, the rays from the sun was almost blinding his view. He stretched himself trying to understand the environment. He looked around, he suddenly had a hangover from last night.

Speaking of last night with the pretty girl he saw. There was nothing as sweet as her body and everything about her.

He felt what he had never felt before with her.

“We found our mate” Pius, his wolf chipped in.

“What mate? He scoffed

“I was only after her body and I got it, she was such a sweet soul and a virgin at that”

He smirked at the corners of his mouth.

He didn't understand why his wolf, Theo was too excited about the whole mate thing, his father on the other side was hell and his wolf on this side was brimstone.

He didn't care more all he ever knew was that girls were always sweet in bed but this whole mate thing was a mess and responsibility he wasn't ready for.

Raein got up from the bed and started gathering his clothes that were scattered all over the floor and retrieved his vibrating phone from his pockets

Raein face changed at the sight of the caller- Alpha Drew,His father.

Another pain in the neck; he knew what he wanted to say even before he picked it.

“I want to see you now” said the thunderous and Stern voice from the other side.

Raein sighed.

The cold face of his father and the dull face of his choice mate greeted his sight as he walked into his father's office.

The atmosphere was lucid and very heavy. Raein never liked things like this, it made him sick.

“Where have you been? Tricia had been calling you, she even got said and upset and reached me. You haven't been around these few days?

You know I won't take this.”

His father fumed, Tricia started sniffing already.

Seeing Tricia cry wasn't what he wanted for her, she had been his childhood friend, a very good one at that. They had always been good paddies.

Since his father made her his compulsory choice mate.

He thought it was a good Thing but thing went south. He found her irritating, he didn't love her enough to make her his mate.

She didn't count anymore. He ignored her badly but now, he couldn't hold it. He had to tell him the truth.

He cleared his throat

“Dad, I'm sorry dad, I have been busy”

His father wanted to rant. Raeinhad to stop with a gesture.

“Just let me finish, I have something I need to say, I have tried to be on my best behavior with Tricia”

“But she can sort you out son, I know you don't have anything for anyone but Tricia has been with you since childhood and I Know you love her”

This was beginning to get nowhere. Raein felt headche coming, he had to interrupt him.

“Dad, I have told you, I don't think I can do this. I don't think I can take her as my mate, please I need a break”

The duo in front of him widened their eyes.
