CHAPTER 5

Tonia Rick, the Luna who had been claiming right now looked wrong. She walked up to the Alpha looking Like the whole world was against her.

“I'm so happy you're here, Raein Could you imagine that the staff here was bullying me. Despite trying to be nice”

Aria’s face coloured changed. She looked like she had swallowed a pin. She couldn't imagine the drama queen changing into a pitiful sight. She didn't understand why she suddenly wished he was the one listening to her instead.

Taking a close look at him, he looked like someone he had met..

In the split of a second she realized; the tall striking, handsome man with Sea-green eyes and dark brown hair.

The guy at Pleasure City and the one night stand. She suddenly turned red in the face from embarrassment.

She was afraid he would recognize her in the mall. The shame from the other night still lingered in her head.

Beards of sweat formed on her forehead.

She continued serving the rest of the customers trying to hide her nervousness.

“But, you can, we're screaming just now,” he answered her indifferently.

He knew her type and wasn't surprised she was the one saying it. He had encountered her before and knew what she could do.

“I had to scream because she was trying to trample on my rights”

She looked really ugly to him in her ruined make-up. Everything about her was fake. The fake breasts, to the fake butts as well which had made him had a thing with her one time.

The fake life and pretense was already tiring to him, that's why he never liked her when his father first talked about her. She was nothing more like a a Luna but rather a

prostitute .

He was already feeling disgusted.

“The best you could do was stand in the line and wait for your turn, everyone has equal rights, nobody is a trash here.“

He fumed. Theo was begging to take control. He wouldn't let Theo do that at the mall. Rio was shocked but couldn't say a word he had to frown alongside to show he was displeased as well.

She didn't know Raein had been there watching her drama.

She couldn't say a word.

From the beginning she was someone he never liked and had sold herself cheaply to him just to lure him into being her mate since she loved him.

Seeing she wasn't convincing him.

“I'll leave first, I have something to attend to” she said feeling downcasted.

She excused herself before he did.

“Indeed” Raein muttered after her

Rio clapped in his face,

“Whoa someone is in love,You didn't care to spill?

“She's our Luna right? Or we have to wait for another? He tried being serious with Raein”

He replied nonchalantly

“I guess it's my impulse, I don't have time for that stuff, all I need is a good p***y, and I'm over just like that slut”

He smirked looking at the direction Tonia went.

Rio frowned, he was already tired of putting sense into Raein. He interrupted impatiently gesturing to the counter

“shall we?”

“I want to get a good gift for a lady, can you help us?

Raein quickly smirked at Aria. He knew he could get just any girl with his dimples and smiles. He took the initiative to talk just to get the opportunity of speaking with Aria.

Aria's heart flustered.

Rio was already baffled. He was already being flirty.

“Sorry about that embarrassment,hope you're okay”

He took a more serious and caring tone.

“Yes, I'm okay. Meanwhile, thank you for your help. I do appreciate it.”

She shrugged, looking less concerned beneath the anxiety she was experiencing.

“What can I help you with? What do you really want to get from our store?.”

She diverted the topic to be more comfortable and be herself.

“Anything, a lady would like, as a sign of pity. “

Rio chirped in, to indicate his presence. He couldn’t understand why Raein was using his personal stuff to flirt with a salesperson. He was already regretting why he brought him along.

Aria quickly selected a beautiful item, Raein watched her packaging the stuff. The way she handled her job was beautiful and struck a chord in Raein. Even Theo was thrilled

“Our mate is quite an item. “ Theo was getting emotional.

It was such a pleasing sight.

Rio was about to pay for it when Raein handed stacks of cash to her.

“ Keep the change,don't bother” She widened her eyes in shock and cupped her mouth. She never had such an amount before.

“Thank you,sir” she nearly cried, feeling so emotional. This was bigger than her salary after all.

“No, Raein, call me Raein.” He corrected me.

“And yours?”

“I'm Aria” she smiled sheepishly.

The rest of her colleagues were surprised and feeling envious. The news spread around like wildfire In the mall.

Tricia made her way to her office, as she stopped by the warehouse to check out some stocks by herself.

There were loud conversations going on in the warehouse. She didn't give much attention as she was used to their useless gossip. She heard someone utter Raein's name, she stopped outside the warehouse which was slightly ajar and paid close attention. She wanted to know what they were saying about Raein.

She overheard one say

“I wish I was the one that was in her place today, I feel so jealous already”

Another voice added

“ I wish the money was in my hands, I would lick his feet non-stop.”

The previous voice said

“That Tonia of a lady, so fake! She deserved what she got, not everyday is a beautiful one”

“I could imagine how she felt. Poor soul, even the note she gave Aria couldn't save her. Poor girl”

A laughing voice added.

“Maybe she could lend her a few tips for free, Aria’s a kind soul after all.”

Tricia could feel her heart boiling hot, the anger was clear. From what they were saying it was obvious Raein tried to flirt with Aria in the mall. How shameless! He was bringing his romance to the office.

He had never come to look for her like this before, talkless of being with her for anyone to see.

She folded her palms into a fist. Aria was trying to bite more than she could chew. She would make sure she choked.

She barged into the warehouse in anger.

The trio inside, were shocked to see. They started getting scared if she actually heard them.
