Cleaning. Again.
Jade jerked awake, gasping and choking. She pushed herself up until her hands and knees as she continued to cough. When she was finally able to catch her breath, she opened her eyes. The taste of acidic bile in her mouth registered in her brain at the same time as she saw the bits of vomit in her bed. She looked down at her front and saw the small vomit trail down her front. Biting back the sting of tears in her eyes, she heaved herself up and off the bed. Once again, she stripped her bed and shoved the bedding in the washer. She stood for a moment in front of the open washer. She then tore off her clothes and tossed them in the washer also. She shut the washer door and pulled the knob to start the cycle. She immediately went to her bathroom and turned on the shower. She didn’t turn on
