PRINCE LEANDRO…
I hadn't gone this far before, not that f*****g strength, I didn't know where and how it came. Was that a marathon or what? Five crazy hours, yet I didn't want to stop even after climaxing.
My còck itched to be put back into that soaked hole. My lycan groaned in lust over and over again.
I was supposed to feed on her blood—to suck her dry and take her life for trying to deceive me, but I didn't even think of that. If I did, who would calm my nerves this much? What person would have such tasty blood and pùssy like hers?
After I freshened up, I stayed up till morning, my mind clouded by the thought of her.
She looked unique, like someone I had met in the past.
The first person that I fed on five years ago had the same scent and blood taste as her. But the fact that I didn't confirm the person's gender was making it difficult to tell if the person was a male or female and if he or she was still alive.
And now, that Hansel was giving the same taste as that person, but my blood tattoo wasn't on her body.
I indirectly searched every part of her while I was drowning in pleasure, wanting to see that tattoo to prove that it was her…but it was nowhere. That tattoo was the easiest way to find that person, and I only hoped the person wasn't dead yet.
Very early that morning, I got myself swimming in the liquor I had always taken. It was the best liquor gotten in the Everdew valley and cost a fortune. The liquor did well to calm my nerves when I felt depressed. It made me sleep when I felt like it, but this time, my reason for taking it was totally different.
I just needed to think straight, and I hoped it would also serve that purpose for me.
“My Prince…”
Aldric—that dude was something else.
He could go on knives and even take bullets for me, even though he knew I was bound to live longer than him.
“I'm sure you didn't sleep last night…” I said and unlocked the door with my magic and watched him walk in. “Want to have a taste?”
He walked closer and bowed, “But you look brighter today. Why take it?”
I looked up to him. Was I supposed to explain myself to him?
“I meant to ask instead, why didn't you go blood hunting last night?” he added upon reading my expression.
I dropped the cup and sighed.
For the first time in five years, I didn't go hunting last night, and my Kyrennei didn't stir in hunger to feed on some blood.
Upon grabbing the cup again, I said to him, “I found some prey in the palace…”
He squinted.
“What? You know the prey?”
“I'm excited and can't wait to hear who this prey is,” he said, pulling a long face.
I crossed my legs, my eyes darkened, “Pretending you didn't know he was a ‘she’?”
His lashes lit open, and then he narrowed his gaze, “If I may ask, who is that?”
“I read your mind, Alllddrrric….” I stretched his name in such a way that he would know I wasn't joking. I hadn't read his mind yet, but I could already sense his fastened breath. And once I do, he could lose his head regardless of who he was.
He had been my best friend, like a brother, and my right-hand man even before I was chained in the dark lava.
“My Prince…”
“You knew that eunuch was a female, yet you hid it from me,” I snorted and loosened my legs, then stood up. “How long were you two planning to deceive me? What was your intention by leaving her here?”
He said nothing, just staring with his mouth agape.
I knew it. He can't lie to me. No one had ever done that, and I wouldn't let it happen.
When that female told me she knew nothing about herself, I read her mind, and it was so true. She had amnesia, and I could tell that it was why I lost interest in taking her life, even though I still threatened her with it.
I believed that circumstances could have made her take such a decision before losing her memories. No female in their right senses would pose as a male, knowing what came with it.
“Forgive me, but she insisted on having amnesia, so I left her to be caught instead, because I couldn't come up with having her executed like that.”
Oh f**k goddess! Everyone keeps acting pitifully towards me.
“So, what do you know about her?” I asked, and he shook her head. “Find out everything about her—every single thing.”
He bowed respectfully…
“And,” I bit my lower lip. This was something I had thought about within myself and believed I was mistaken. I didn't want to talk about it to anyone else except my lycan, but I couldn't hold it in myself at that point. So, I stared at Aldric long enough before I broke the news, “Why does she look like Jeyne?”
His eyes snapped wide like I had just asked something he didn't anticipate…and of course, he didn't see such a question coming.
“What? Jeyne?”
I nodded, “I bet you hadn't seen her feminine. She looked so much like her, except for her shape. Jeyne wasn't that tall, as of over two millennia ago. She wasn't curvy like that, too, but that facial shape, charming eyes, nothing changed on her face…but her voice changed.”
I exhaled and took a deep gulp.
“Maybe, it's her look-alike, but she reminds me of her.”
I didn't ever want to recall the past, but here I was, about to break down again.
“I will go see her and check if I can see the same thing as you. We all saw Jeyne hanged to death with her family, so there's no possibility that she survived. Jeyne is a beta lycan too, and not some unknown species like this one.” Aldric stated, as though trying to comfort me. “People look alike, and I bet that's the case here, because every single family of Jeyne was executed, so it's not like she might be her family.”
Yeah! He was right.
Before my very eyes, I watched my mate take her last breath. Every one of her bloodline was executed too, so their generation doesn't exist any longer.
“But, what do you plan to do with Hansel? You bear her scent, and I can tell that you claimed her last night, which prompted you not to leave as usual. I hope you don't plan to let her live? If her secret gets out, you too will be punished for letting her live…”
I nodded at his words. But I have no intention of taking her life at this point.
If truly she's the first person I fed on five years ago, then I need to get my blood tattoo through her. And even though she isn't my deceased mate, f*****g her and staring at that face would ease my nerves so much like last night.
Aldric patiently waited for my response, while I thought hard on what to do.
“Do you think she deserves death?” I asked him and he bowed, but said nothing.
Silly him…
“Look, apart from being my eunuch, she would play a lot of roles. Her blood is so tasty to my kyrennei, and her pùssy so sweet to my lycan. If she's the one with my blood tattoo, then I must take it back before unaliving her. And…” I paused and took in fresh air. “I can't afford to have her die with that face.”
Aldric got to his knees. I just hate how he does at times.
“My prince, then…
“I won't pay her.” I cut him short. That was the only option I could come up with. “Like I told you, find out everything about her, and make sure she doesn't get paid a dime while playing her role as an eunuch. That's her punishment instead of being executed.”
He got to his feet and bowed again, “At your service, my prince.” Then he raised his face and met my gaze. “I will caution her, and also try to see that her gender isn't revealed in the long run.”
And our conversation came to an end.
Aldric left, and I stayed alone, back at drinking my liquor until I emptied the jar. A lot went through my mind about that female.
She was supposed to die, but she had a lot of things that were eating me up.
At that point, I wished badly that her secret gender wouldn't be revealed until I felt like discarding her. Not like being stripped of my power, or chained to dark lava again would do a thing to me, because taking my life was one impossible thing to do by these mortals….
But I can't afford to watch that face die before me again. If it happened again, even though she wasn't my mate, I could actually go feral this time…because that face meant a lot to me.
