Through Wolves Eyes

*Selene* "Selene, you are going to be late!" "You can't miss your own graduation!" Selene's mother Sylvia yelled up the stairs. Selene jumped out of bed, grabbed the white hi-lo dress she picked out, and headed for the bathroom. She grabbed her brush, quickly brushing out her waist length black hair. The bright vanity lights made her natural gold and silver highlights gleam just a bit. *(flashback)* "Damn new girl!" " Can you like, cover your hair or something it's blinding me!" Clair the mean girl in 9th grade said on my first day at Dixie High. Clair had caught Selene standing in the sun, with her hair unwrapped, glowing in the sunlight. *(end flashback)* Reaching for her scarf, she smiled in the mirror, not today. Today she would show herself off to the world, from the color of her copper Native American skin, her brown eyes that turned colors from the lightest golden brown, to so dark they were almost black. She slipped on her white dress which really brought out her tanned skin. No makeup, she didn't like the stuff, never found the right color for her skin, and it made her skin feel like it was suffocating. She slid her converse on, though she was short and could get away with heels, something in her head said wear sneakers, shaking off the uneasy feeling she had she went to eat breakfast. *Bruce* "Yes alpha, I'm watching the house." Bruce said. "Good don't lose her." " Don, Trevor, don't f**k this up!" The Alpha Lee growled over the speaker, earning a whimper from Trevor, and Don quickly cast his eyes down to his lap. Lee hung up quickly. "Ken you know what to do, stay in the car." *Selene* Selene walked the halls of the place she had stayed the longest, four years of her life here in these halls. Though she only had one friend for two of the four years here, it was the best school she had been to, good and country. Of course boys had shown an interest her, she had been on a few dates but none ever really fit, the bonus of that is no messy breakups though. She reached the end of her walk and took the last seat, with the last name woods of course she was last. After an hour of speeches and most of the graduating class receiving their diplomas, it was Selene's turn to walk the stage. "Selene Woods." The principal stated. Selene walked on stage, pausing for handshakes, photos, and receiving her diploma. Her parents standing and clapping, though there was five men she had no clue who they were standing and clapping also. She walked off stage, the principal said his final congrats to the grads, as they all threw their caps in the air. Soft music played by the band in the background, Selene smiling to herself found her cap, but when she looked up there was one of the men she had noticed clapping in the crowd standing right in front of her, as she looked at him she felt a sharp pain in her neck. Then everything went blurry, her knees gave out. The next Selene knew she was being held up by a strong arm, and dragged out the doors. She heard someone say "Put her down Bruce." Then two more men came to stand beside the one holding her up, then her parents were standing beside the other man, her dad dipped his head and said to the man standing beside him "Beta Conner." A car pulled up behind Selene, Bruce began backing up, but Conner, Calvin, and Sylvia had already started to charge the other two guys but Bruce was quick he had opened the door, shoved her in and shut the door, before she could even blink. Conner went for the door but it was too late the car had already begun moving. "Princess!" He screamed. Not too long after that Selene finally succumb to the drugs, and drifted to sleep. Dreaming about being a real princess, the dresses, the dances, the princes, and of course the palace. Her subconscious thinking "Well now we know why the converse." *Conner* He screams out " Princess Selene!" and begins to running after the car as it drives away. But it's too late, and by the time he makes it back to Calvin and Sylvia. Bruce, Don and Trevor were gone. Calvin and Sylvia sit up rubbing their heads. Conner sighs and pulls out his phone, knowing the Alpha King Romeo is gonna be pissed. Pinching the bridge of his nose Conner hits the call button, and after less than a second Romeo picks up "Conner tell me you have her." Romeo says with emotion only a father knows. Conner felt the lump in his throat grow, so much so it began to feel like he had swallowed a whole apple. Conner blew out the breath he didn't realize he had been holding, and began to tell his king, his alpha how he had failed him. The King was holding back tears, his Queen Ruby at his feet, head on his knees, could not hold back the tears falling down her cheeks. Conner was not sure when the tears spilled over his lids, but he had watched one hit his shirt, he looked up to see Calvin and Sylvia on their knees crying praying to the Moon Goddess Selene's help.  THANK YOU FOR READING!
