Chapter 12: Under Surveillance
After their meeting, Alexander's father was not ready to let things go.
He was determined to separate Alexander and Erica, and to achieve this, he hired a private investigator to follow Alexander.
The investigator was tasked with gathering information about Alexander and Erica's life together.
He followed them discreetly, documenting their daily activities and reporting back to Alexander's father.
Alexander and Erica were unaware of the surveillance. They continued their life, blissfully in love and happy with their decision.
They faced challenges, of course, but they faced them together, their bond growing stronger with each passing day.
One day, the investigator managed to capture a moment that Alexander's father was waiting for.
He photographed Alexander and Erica sharing a tender moment in a public park. The investigator presented the photos to Alexander's father, who was pleased with the evidence.
Armed with the photos, Alexander's father decided to confront Alexander. He called him for another meeting, this time with a sinister plan in mind.
Chapter 13: The Unwanted Announcement
Alexander arrived at the meeting place, a high-end restaurant in the city. His father was already there, waiting for him. As Alexander sat down, he noticed another person at the table - it was Lucy.
Before Alexander could ask any questions, his father made a surprising announcement. He declared that Alexander and Lucy were to be married. He had arranged everything, believing that this marriage would restore the family's reputation.
Alexander was shocked. He looked at Lucy, who was smirking at him, and then back at his father. He couldn't believe what he was hearing. He told his father that he wouldn't marry Lucy, that he was in love with Erica.
His father, however, was not moved by his words. He told Alexander that he had no choice, that this was for the best. He even threatened to ruin Erica's life if Alexander didn't comply.
Alexander was furious. He stood up, his eyes filled with anger. He told his father that he would not let him control his life, that he would not let him hurt Erica. He left the restaurant, leaving his father and Lucy behind.
