The day of Alexander and Lucy's wedding arrived. The mansion was filled with guests, all dressed in their finest attire. The air was filled with excitement and anticipation, but for Alexander, it was a day of heartbreak.
Unbeknownst to Erica, she was invited to the wedding by Alexander's father. He wanted her to witness Alexander's marriage to Lucy, believing it would finally sever any ties between them. Erica arrived at the mansion, unaware of what was about to happen.
As the ceremony began, Erica was shocked to see Alexander standing at the altar with Lucy. She couldn't believe her eyes. She felt her heart shatter as she watched Alexander exchange vows with Lucy.
After the ceremony, Alexander's father made an announcement. He revealed to everyone that Erica was a maid in their mansion and that Alexander had chosen to marry Lucy, a woman of their own status. The guests were shocked, and Erica was humiliated.
Despite the humiliation, Erica held her head high. She looked at Alexander, her eyes filled with sadness but also understanding. She knew that Alexander had made a difficult decision, and she respected him for it.
