Ch 16 Facial Muscles

Chapter 16

•XOILA•

“This is Xipil one of the sicarios of the man that we will all be working for”

Xipil was slender and about 5’11 tan complexion and honey brown eyes dark brown wavy hair that was up in a man bun much like Oris except the sides and the back of his head were shaved and lined very nicely up.

“You guys can call me Xi if it’s hard to pronounce,” he said rather kindly with a slight accent except with a bored expression. As if Oris could sense my thought he said “Xi’s nice he just has dead facial muscles” he said laughing and poking Xi in the face. I looked in the rearview mirror and saw the amusement that danced in Xi’s eyes.

“Oris stop poking me I'm trying to drive,” he said as he kept his eyes on the road, Oris only hummed in response and then turned in his seat to face us with a big smile on his face. “How long have you been living in California Ory… I mean it was like you fell off the map no one could find you” his smile faltered a bit no one seemed to notice his smile seemingly become less bright

‘Isa?’

‘Yes Human’

‘My name is Xoila’

‘I know’

‘Ugh nevermind can you talk to Ory's wolf?’

‘I could try Human but...Are you alright?’

‘Izz I don’t want to talk about it’

‘It’s Isa and we have to talk about it at some point..it..hurt’

‘Izz I'm sorry’

‘I'll try to talk to him’

I felt our connection cut off

“Well after I wandered around a bit met and stumbled into Xi he helped me get on my feet and for that, I will be forever thankful.” they Stacy cut in “okay but that’s not enough detail” “Gosh Stacy let me finish talking” He rolled his eyes and then said “Anyways he introduced me into his life and his family and here I am now getting all of you here to have a better life with more money than we could ever spend” he threw his hands up triumphantly and then gave us all a knowing look

“and the jets pretty comfortable and there are lots of snacks on board so that you can eat your fill”

“Ouuuhhh do you mean snacks as in food or snacks as in people”

Oris let out a hearty laugh “what do you mean people” I rolled my eyes and then linked him

‘Your gonna tell me sooner or later Oris Savage’

He slightly raised his eyebrows because he heard me and then turned back around and poked Xipil “We almost there?” Xipil rolled his eyes and said “Yes Ory we’re almost there” he replied in a very bored tone but if this is anything like my Dad he was being Sarcastic and I let out a giggle. Then it was Xi’s turn to raised his eyebrows but brushed off my reaction and said: “ what's so funny Xoxo?”

As I was thinking for a way to answer Xi’s phone began to ring with 'Can't Help Falling in Love' by Elvis Presley I looked at his eyes shone with affection as he pressed the green button on the digital screen in the Jeep

“Papa?”

“Que Paso mi corazón?” (What's the matter my heart?)

“Donde Estas?” (where are you?)

“Ya te dije Mago me vine con to Tío Oris a recoger a tu Tia Xoila” (I had told you Mago I went with your Uncle Oris to come to pick up your Auntie Xoila)

“Ah, deveras... Hola Tio! Hola Tia Xoila!” (That's right… Hi uncle! Hi Auntie!)

She is the cutest...This sounded like something Xi should explain I shouted back right at the same time as Ory “Hola Mago!” Stacy looked lost ‘we’ll explain in a bit’ I linked my small pack Zari and Stacy nodded and Zen only gave a thumbs up.

Then Mago slightly whispered and said “Papa Rapido Llega mama Loba está furiosa y creo que es culpa de Magnolia” (Papa come quick Mama wolf is really mad and I think it’s Magnolias fault)

Xi lowly chuckled “Yah voy mi corazón y tu mama solo quiere levantarse a hacer algo tu dile que la quiero y las veo muy pronto ya llegamos al el aeropuerto yah tengo que colgar” (I'm on my way My heart your mama’s just upset because she wants to get out of bed but we just got to the airport I have to hang up now)

“Okay, Papa te Quiero mucho! Adios Tio!” (Okay Papa I love you lots! Bye uncle!)

“Adios enana!” (Bye Midget) Oris said rather tauntingly

“No soy enana!... Adios Tia! Adios amigos de mi Tia!” (I am not a Midget!… Bye Auntie! Bye Aunties friends!)

‘Say bye, you guys’

“Bye!” they all said in unison

She shouted “Bye!”And then the line went dead.

Before anyone could say anything Xi beat us to it “That was Margarita my eldest daughter” then Stacy said “OOouuu that makes sense... but she said mama wolf” Xi’s eyes shone with understanding at the unasked question and then love filled them as his face remained in its bored state

“Oh well that's what she calls my mate her mother" as he put the car in park he showed his mate mark “Oh you have a werewolf mate!” said Zari rather happily Xi’s eyes shone with adoration 

“ I am quite sure Zinna will be very happy to meet you all” 

‘awwwww’ Zari and Stacy chimed through our pack link. 

Then Ory turned “okay we're here” We all looked to the passenger side where Ory was sitting and saw their jet it was black and had golden accents with a large red rose with gold leaves on the tail rudder.

“Oris isn’t that the Cartel Circo de La Rosa emblem?”

He rolled his eyes then smile “Come now children let’s go home”

Then my pack link came to life

‘Oouuh boy…’ Stacy

‘Wait...’ Zari

‘What!’ Zen

‘Stay calm you guys we’re gonna get through this even if we have to get our hands dirty it is in our nature’ I sent thru the pack link and then Oris spoke again

"Okay now everyone let's get out so Xo can get dressed," he said as he opened the door to get out of the car.

Then Stacy handed me some shorts, my favorite hoodie with a Doctor Strange design in his signature pose, and my slides “I’ll make sure the guys don’t throw our stuff around… come on you guys” she said with a weary smile sliding out from my right. 

Zari sighed and then put on her bravest face and said: “We’ll wait for you in the jet Cap” got out of the car from the left then went around to let Zen out from the back seat “We’ll save you a seat” as he got out and gathered our things I smiled back and they all stood in front of the trunk saluted and then closed it I giggled waited for them to close all the doors so that I could get dressed.

I looked around making sure all the doors were closed and thanked the goddess for the tinted windows funny thing was all the windows were tinted and I'm pretty sure that's not legal. I took off Ory's coat and then began to get dressed and I felt this pressure in the back of my mind instantly knocking so I had no choice but to open the door.

‘Hello human’

‘Hello Izz’

‘Don’t call me Izz Human... what do you want?’

I couldn’t help but roll my eyes at her she’s so rude... I mean she is the one that started this conversation but never the less I responded 

‘I wanna know if you talked to Ory's wolf?’

‘I did human’

‘Okay, what did he say?’

‘He’s not very talkative but he said that Oris will tell you everything when we get home’

‘Okay good to know’ I paused thinking she would cut me off surprisingly she didn’t so I continued

‘So… why call me Human why not my name or Xo... what should I do?’

‘I do what I want human so when I feel like it I might or might not’

I heard a wolfy chuckle and couldn’t help but roll my eyes at her

‘Guess I’ll have to wait a century but that’s not gonna stop me from calling you Izz’

I smirked and she grumbled as she cut our connection

I slipped on my slides figured she would at some point as I pondered over my conversation with her I heard a knock on the window.

I slid to my right and then I opened the door “ You ready? The jets waiting for Alpha Savage…” he said with a smug look on his face 

“Okay then Savage lead the way” he held out his arm for me and I linked my arm through after draping Ory's coat over my shoulders as we made our way to the jet door.

I started to walk up the stairs and into the cabin I looked around the Cabin very nice and kinda like the ones you see in commercials and magazines. Very comfy looking black leather seats with that were situated in pairs in the far back and some along the side of the plane enough to seat at least 8 more people in this part of the cabin that is. 

The floor was carpeted and which was this ash charcoal grey, there was a mini-fridge and a coffee tabled area where 5 people could sit and relax or eat I guess. The walls looked to be this dark oak color and the lighting was soft and kinda relaxing. I looked over and saw that Zari had snuggled up in one of the single seats already sleeping. I turned and saw Zen laying on his stomach sprawled across the seats with two seat belts buckled on him in case he would happen to fall over.

I giggled a bit and then saw Stacy sitting in one of the two-seaters with an empty seat right next to her. I walked over and sat next to Stacy that was snuggled up in the window seat facing away from me and voiced my thoughts to her “One hell of a year it’s been huh Stace?” she let out a soft snore in response. I turned a bit to look past her, to look back on the town we all once called home and closed the blind over it. I looked at her and made sure her seatbelt was buckled, then looked at Zen and Zari who looked very peaceful as they let out soft snores. I heard the Planes door closed shut and saw Oris sauntering away to a different part of the cabin of the plane.

I figured that Xi was probably where Oris was headed so I stood up and made sure everyone was buckled in seeing that they all had already fallen asleep. After checking and adding a third seat belt on Zen (Maybe a fourth...You could never be too safe I mean he is a big guy) and making sure Zari was buckled in properly I went back to my seat right as the Seatbelts on symbol lit up. I buckled myself in and turned over trying to get comfortable as well I pulled the Motorola out of my hoodie pocket and then flipped it open to check the time 2:49 AM. I snuggled into the seat and closed my eyes as I felt the plane start to ascend, and thought
