Saving Gabe

As Alexis let those vile  words come out her mouth Gabriel’s face changed into a pulsating anger, he got red in the face the eyes that Alexis once knew went dark like he was looking for blood. the wine glass in his hand shattered and blood dripped from his hand. Alexis slowly steps out of the tub and grabs her towel and wraps herself in it and slides her feet in her slides and grabs gloves out of her first aid kit.

“Come here let me tend to your hand.” Alexis said

“Again I ask how can you find him? I'm pretty sure he is long gone.” Alexis asked

“Well what i neglected to tell you is that i'm the italian mafia boss. I run drugs,  shipments for guns like the ones you saw last week and assassinations .  you remember the doctor, he is a part of it and so are a couple of other people i will introduce to you too later, if you let me?” Gabriel asked 

“Is he going to kill me, is this what he is doing? now that I know I'm dead?”Alexis thought 

With her eyes big and filled with fear stepping back, Alexis screams  frantickley “You're playing right so I have been living with the ruthless and most dangerous Gabriel Salvatore?” 

Gabriel moves closer to her slowly and grabs her hand and slowly pulls her in and softly says “ I'm not going to hurt you i see the fear in your eyes i'm not here to hurt you i'm only telling you so if anything were to happen you won't be scared them or think i lied to you about who i am. I'm also telling you this so you know why i can find him so easily.” Gabriel said 

“Okay.” Alexis said nervously

“but how do i know you wont kill me?” Alexis asked

“You just have to trust that I won't.” Gabriel replied

“Now let me finish with your hand.” Alexis said 

“how can i still love him and he hasn even shown interest in me, i tend to his wounds like im his wife and i don't even know how that ended with his ex. does he really like me or am i just seeing things.”Alexis thought

 “Hey why did you and leos mom end things in the first place.” Alexis asked 

“I don't want to get into that right now, it's in the past and her name is Aura.” gabriel said 

“Ok then your rapping for your hand is done, come to me or go or doctor to redress it in the morning i'm going to bed now you can find your way out .” Alexis replied walking past him in her sheer robe

“what is his problem? All I did was ask a question he questioned me about my past but I can't as a double standard. and what does he mean by introducing me to his people?” Alexis thought 

The next morning Alexis gets up, brushes her teeth, curls her hair, washes her face and does her makeup while trying a new look of a smokey eye,a nude lipstick and winged eyeliner. She then puts on a pair of skinny ripped jeans, a white crop top that says  baby girl on it and heeled black suede  ankle boots. 

Alexis then walks over to Leo's room, wakes him and gets his uniform ready while he brushes his teeth and hair and washes his face. After she walks down the stairs  to start breakfast and sees that Gabriel already beat her to it.

“Good morning sir.” Alexis said

“Good morning and why are you calling me sir?” Gabriel asked

“Well don't i have to call you sir since i do work for you and you are the mafia boss so i really do have to start respecting you or you might just kill me right?” Alexis replies with sass

Gabriel steps closer to Alexis looking deep into her eyes seeing the passion and warmth he has been missing from what he saw in Auras eyes years ago.

“First watch how you talk to me or i will put you on this island behind you and kiss you long enough till you feel a warm tingly sensation going down your back that will make you want to melt into my body and want me to take you right then and there.” Gabriel said 

“I wish but….”Alexis started

“But I'm here and you can't do that infront of me or do it at all because it looks like you are about to burn down the kitchen.” Leo continues 

Gabriel steps away from Alexis and dumps the burnt french toast, Alexis fixes her clothes and walks to leo and said “ i know i just started and i didnt want to do it so early but i do have to take care of some business but i will be back later with a treat for you if your dad is ok with it.” Alexis said looking at Gabriel

“Please please dad can she please?!” Leo exclaimed 

“Sure but whatever it is you have to save some for me.”Gabriel said

Alexis calls Riley and asks her to go with her hands and feet done and go to the mall to get her dresses for the dates. When they meet up Alexis gets her nails soft white on both her toes and hands but on her hands she gets marble pointer fingers and rhinestones on the ring fingers. Then  they go to Foundersnation and get a long olive green spaghetti strap dress that has a split on the side gold hoop earrings and gold bangle bracelets, a black wristlet and black open stilettos for her date with Victor.

 Then she gets  a long sleeve white  bodycon dress with an olive green  sheer quarter sleeve duster, silver hoop earrings, silver link bracelet and open olive strappy suede pump heels. After shopping Alexis tells Riley she needs to go to the store to get the stuff to make double chocolate chip cupcakes with a vanilla buttercream frosting and a black cherry to top it off.

When Alexis gets home she starts to make the cupcakes  and listens to her bad b***h playlist on her phone and dances that she doesn't realize that Leo and Gabriel have walked in. 

“Hey Alexis how was your day and what are you doing?” Leo and Gabriel ask 

“Well my day was good. I hung out with my friend Riley after I took care of the business I needed to take care of and right now I'm making you want to come see?” Alexis asked 

“yes please.” Leo replied

“What are they?” Leo asked 

“Those are double chocolate chip cupcakes and they will have a vanilla buttercream frosting and a black cherry on top.” Alexis replied

“And you can have one after dinner homework and a shower because you seem sweaty from practice today.” Alexis said

“Ok”Leo said 

“Well since it seems like you had a full day today do you want to talk about it?” Alexis asked Gabriel

“Yea you were right all the moms do want me they were all over me.” Gabriel said

“I told you. can you try a cupcake for me before i go get ready?” Alexis asked

“Sure.”Gabriel said

Gabriel grabs a cupcake and takes a bite. He made a face that pleased Alexis and made her heart flutter when he pulled the cupcake from his face. Alexis grabs a napkin and walks up to Gabriel and starts to wipe around his mouth. Alexis and Gabriels eyes meet and he pulls her closer to him. She watches him closely and grabs his forearm as he picks her up to put her on the counter next to the cupcakes. He continues to look her in the eyes as he kisses her. his lips brushes hers softly and delicately like butterfly wing just long enough that he could inhale her peppermint breath feel the warmth of her skin and the taste of her strawberry lip gloss. he then increases the kiss pulling her head back and kissing her causing her to let out a soft moan of pleasure. Alexis soon comes to her senses and hops off the counter and steps away from Gabriel and says “ i cant i have to start getting ready for my date i'll see you later.”  

Alexis puts her hair in a messy bun and leaving strands of hair out to curl to frame her face and puts her rhinestone hair clip in then she puts on her outfit and puts on her grandma's wedding ring as something blingee and makes her way to the front room to wait for Victor.

After waiting for 20 minutes she gets a text from Victor 

Victor: I’m sorry we are going to have to postpone our date.

Alexis: why?

Victor: boss has been shot.
