Alexis slides from under Gabriel and throws a pair of pants at him then she walks over to Leo and greets him with a hug and a kiss on the cheek.

“Hey honey how are you.” Alexis asked 

“I'm gweat, I brought you a chocowite donut.” Leo replied 

“Thank you Leo. Do you want to sit down, how's school been?” Alexis asked 

“It's gweat,but why was daddy on top of you like that.” Leo Asked 

Alexis looks at Gabriel worried about how to answer to that, Gabriel doesn't even flinch and says “ I was helping Alexis get something out of her eye. She was complaining about it.” 

“Daddy i know your wying, i know you were kissing Awexis and i know that you like her i was only asking to see if you would wie to me.” Leo replied 

Gabriel raises an eyebrow confused picking Leo up and putting him on the bed then kneeling in front of him and askes “How do you know that I like Alexis buddy?” 

“You don't know but that day before schoow when you put Awexis on the table and kissed her and then i saw you give her that necklace.” Leo replied crossing his arms 

Gabriel stands up changing the subject “Buddy how has practice been?”

“It's been good the moms are asking about Awexis saying she's my mom but you're not married to her, right?” Leo says raising an eyebrow smirking 

“Um son you need to know, something you remember what i do for work right?” Gabriel asked 

“Yes you kill all of the really bad people and you also sell drugs and really shiny weapons.” Leo replied 

“Well daddy got shot a few nights ago and I asked Alexis to take over for me so i could recover, so we had to make a cover for her.” Gabriel said walking over to Alexis wrapping his arms around her waist 

“Ok… ?” Leo said quizingly 

“Well her cover was that she is my wife that is why i gave her that necklace.” Gabriel replied 

As Leo's lips start to part to say something Samson bursts through the door with Amin screaming “Boss we found who shot both you and Alexis.” 

Gabriel and Alexis grab their guns and tuck them in their pants and start running out of the hospital, Alexis takes the lead in driving and heads to the warehouse. Gabriel looks red like steam should be coming out of his ears and Alexis doesnt even notice till she looks over to tell him to text Samson.

“Hey i know we are both pissed but you need to calm down before you have a heart attack again!” Alexis screams putting a hand on his knee

“No. You should get home. I'll take care of the scum!” Gabriel replied 

“Um i don't think so If i'm supposed to be your “mafia wife” i'm going to do this with you if you like it or not.” Alexis says speeding up swerving past cars 

“Fine but you're staying upstairs at the bar.” Gabriel said 

“No, hell I'm not, what did I just say.” Alexis yells

“You shouldn't see what is about to happen.” Gabriel said putting a hand on her upper thigh

Alexis takes a quick glance at Gabriel and catches him staring at her lips, she watches his eyes as they change from their once angry stage to a soft sparkle of hunger.

As   Alexis comes to a stop in the garage of the warehouse she leans over close enough to his ear and whispers “If i  can handle you. I can handle anything.”

Alexis and Gabriel step out of the car,Gabriel waits for Alexis to walk over to his side, grabs her hand and walks into the basement. As they get to the  last step Alexis looks up and  freezes as she sees a very familiar face. she lets go of Gabriel's hand, pulls her gun out of her pants and releases the safety.

Alexis walks over to the tied familiar frame and says “Speak Giovanni, what are you doing here.” 

“Well look who it is, my little slut.” Giovanni said with a smirk 

“Hey watch what comes out of that mouth of yours.” Gabriel said putting a hand on alexis waist 

“Oh you don't know, You didn't tell him. well why don't i.” Giovanni said 

As Giovanni opens his mouth to speak again Alexis shoves her gun in his mouth and says “ Say a word of my past and u wont have any teeth.”

Giovanni winks at Alexis while she is still standing over him and takes one leg and trips her which makes her fall into his lap, he moves his head back getting the gun out of his mouth and says “ Im sure its my past and i can say what i want.”

Alexis stands up dusting herself off and fixing her clothes and says “Go ahead you will only be telling on yourself.” 

“Well Mr.Salvatore what you don't know about our little slut here is she used to sell her body at that little club downtown in chicago to get through medical school and one night i walked into the club she danced for me and i offered her all the money in the world of she came with me. And with that she did and with that little body of hers she made me a lot of money and I gave her her cut and like she said she would, she spent it all on school till she was out of date. one day she came to me and told me she was done working and I put her in her place everyday after that till a year later she ran away here, i also found out where you were working before he hired you and i made a few calls and got you fired .” Giovanni said smirking 

“untie him.” Gabriel said rolling up the sleeves of his shirt

Gabriel hands his gun to Alexis and walks over to Giovanni, ties his hands up on the pole above him and grabs his engraved knife from Samson. Gabriel stabs Giovanni in the abdomen numerous times until blood spilled out of his mouth, he then throws hard and powerful jabs at where he stabs Giovanni and in his face. Gabriel gives him one last punch and says “Next time you decide to touch or harm a hair on my wife's head you won't see the light of day again. 

Gabriel turns around and sees Alexis pointing her gun past his head at Giovanni. he walks closer to her and sees streaks of tears on her face and her eyes puffy and red, he steps behind her raps his arms around her waist and whispers in her ear “Do it if it makes you feel free, mi amore.” 

the next thing Gabriel hears is two gunshots and see smoke coming from Alexis gun as she slides down onto her knees cuping her red face in her hands crying. he slowly bends down to pick her up and carries her to his apartment above the warehouse and into the master bathroom runs her bath water and gently places her in the tub.

Gabriel turns to walk out of the bathroom until he is stopped in his tracks when he hears Alexis’s soft voice say “ Stay with me please.”

“Ok mi amore.” Gabriel replied

  “Gabriel i want to tell you the truth, not his twisted side.” Alexis said softly looking up at him 

“It's fine you don't have to.” Gabriel replied holding her hand

“I know but i want to.” ALexis said sitting up 

“Half of what he said was true. I did work at a bar downtown in Chicago and I wasn't a bartender. I was a stripper. I used the money to get through school. Now on one particular night i won't forget it because that's what changed me, Giovanni came up to me and he didn't look how he did down stairs he was built like a god he had a perfect black suit that fit him perfectly and the white shirt showed his sculpted chest every breath he took he wore his charcoal hair slicked back in a man bun that showed off his neck tattoos and his ice blue earrings. He asked  me for a private dance and I took him to the back and did what he paid me for and when I was done he offered me better money, money that the club couldn't offer me so I took him up on his offer but I didn't know what I was agreeing to. 

I worked for him for months and in those few months i got enough to get myself out of student loans and was able to pay for my school books, so one night i told him i was done that i was quitting. When i told him that he threw me on the wall like i weighed nothing as it collapsed on the ground he put his foot into my chest and told me i worked for him till he was done with me, he also raped me when he felt like it and i had ended up pregnant. he beat me when my belly started growing his main aim was my stomach, that night i left as soon as i felt that he had killed my baby i ran, i ran as fast and as far as i could till i was in an area that i recognized i found Riley and her twin brother Roland and we left.” Alexis said 

Gabriel stands grabbing her towel and picks her up carrying her to the bed and sitting her down. He lifts her chin, looks into her deep blue eyes stroking the side of her cheek and says “I won't hurt you and i will protect you forever until i die and nothing you just said in there will change that and if you think that you will think again. Do you understand that ?” Gabriel asked 

Alexis slides back on the bed and raps her arms around his neck, she leans in close to him enough that if she were to talk her lips will brush up against his. She moves one hand down his jawline to his lips and brushes her thumb on his bottom lip looking up at him and kisses him.

Gabriel picks her up again with a firm grip on her thigh and sits on the bed, he pulls on her ponytail back and her neck follows as he leaves a trail of kisses down her neck to her left breast. Gabriel pulls the towel off of her lays her down on the bed and is mesmerised by her body and continues to kissing and sucking down her body till he gets in between her legs and asks “Are you ready?”
