Lily pov

“My staff are all set in the bedroom and the closet,” I say as I enter the kitchen

“Great sweetie. You hungry?”

“Yes. You need help, Linda?”

“Sure. You can set the table? Chris is talking with his manager. He will be here soon” she says and I start to set the table

“God Linda. It smells amazing. I will get weight with you” I say and she laughs

“I will love you the same baby” Chris whispers in my ear. I smile and he kisses me on the cheek

“I don’t think Chris has a problem if you get bigger,” Linda says and she laughs. Chris nods at me and I giggle. The food was served and we started eating

“You finished with your stuff?”

“Yeah everything is ready” I answer him

“I’m sorry I couldn’t help. Zack wants me to a new movie and I had to fix my schedule”

“It’s fine. I didn’t need help anyway. I wanted to fix my things by myself” We finished dinner and Linda retired for the night. Chris and I stay to watch a movie. No, he doesn’t like to watch his movies.

The next months were really busy for both of us. Chris has the filming and the promotion of his new movie to do. So he did some short trips in Europe and some here in different towns in America. I have a promotion at work, I became editor taking Charlotte’s place. She is still my boss, now she is a chief editor so I still I am accountable to her. I feel very lucky, I have a promotion and I work with Charlotte, who is a great boss. This weekend Chris is going to Miami for an appearance and I managed to steal two days from work to spend a little time with my boyfriend. I still can't believe that Chris Blake is my boyfriend.

“That will be all Lily. Have fun in Miami”

“Thanks, Charlotte. See you Monday” I say as I open her office door

“Have a nice weekend too?” I say and she smiles, I walk to my new office and I see Ava fix my schedule for Monday.

“Alina wants you for the photo shoot. But she will be here on Wednesday. She can’t earlier”

“No problem. We will have time to print”

“I know you will find the time. That’s why you take the promotion and no Charles” she says and walks out from my office to hers. My phone rang and it was Chris

“Hi handsome”

“You ready beautiful?” He asks and I giggle

“You don’t even ask if I’m ok, straight to the point I see” he laughs

“Sorry baby. I’m excited that we will go to Miami together.”

“I’m teasing you. I’m excited too.” I look at my watch

“You said we leaving at six. Is not even five” I say and he laughs

“Didn’t I say that I’m excited?”

“You did Chris”

“So when you will finish?”

“About half an hour. I can take a few data with me to check them later.”

“OK, love. I will be there soon”

“OK. Love you”

“Love you too baby.” He says and we end the call. Ava came inside to help me finish earlier and after a while, I heard a knock on my door. I look up and I see Chris handsome and sexy as always with black trousers and a royal blue shirt that matches his gorgeous blue eyes. “Hey, Chris. She is almost ready. Few papers to see and she is all yours” Ava says

“It’s fine I will wait,” he says and he comes closer kissing me. We smile and then Ava says

“Can you please not do that in front of me? I’m single and alone for too long” she says and we laugh

“Don’t worry. I have a few friends if you want to introduce me” Chris says and I smile.

“No thank you. Blind dates never work with me” she says and she stands up.

“I can look at the others if you want to. I will send them by email to check them” she says

“Ok. Thank you” I say and she exits my office

“She is alone for too long. She is trying to hide and jokes about that but I can see through her” I say and I put my phone into my bag

“I offer to meet some from my friends”

“Well, I and the girls tried that before, and didn’t work out. So she makes us promise not to try again. And I think is better. If it mends to happen it will. Just like us. You came into my life at the right time” I say and I kiss him

“I hope she finds her other half as we did. She is an amazing person, she will make her man happy” he says and I smile

“I’m glad that you like my friends”

“You know how to choose a good friend baby. Come on now let’s go” he says taking my hand. We say hell to Ava and we drive to the airport. The flight was short and soon we were in our hotel.
