Epilogue

Lily pov

“One more Lily. Push” my doctor says and I give all I have and I push one more time. I can’t anymore, suddenly I hear a cry. Thank God he is out. Chris is holding my hand and whispering sweet words in my ear. Other times I will love that but now he makes me angry.

“There you go. A beautiful baby boy” Dr. Sallyvan says and she gives me the baby.

“Hey,” I say and he holds my finger in his tiny fingers.

“He is beautiful,” Chris says and he kisses my head. We stay for a while looking at him and then the nurses take him to clean him. When we both were ready they took us to our room. The baby will stay in the same room with me, we asked that from the hospital and they allowed it.

When I wake up I see Chris holding our son and talking to him.

“Hey boys,” I say and I lift my body into a sit position

“Hi, Mommy. How are you?” Chris says and he walks closer

“Give me,” I say and I lift my hands. Chris giggles and I take my son in my arms and he smiles.

“How did you sleep?” Chris asks

“Good. Did he sleep at all?”

“Yes. He woke up a few minutes before you”

“Did you think any other name?” I ask him. We haven’t ended up still with a name. I never thought that it would be so hard.

“I don’t know. But the more I look at more I like Nathan” I look at my son and then at Chris

“Nathan Blake,” I say and I look at my son again

“Nathan,” I say and he smiles

“It suits him. Nathan then. It’s great”

“I’m happy that you like it” We hear a knock at the door and the door opening. I see my mom and then follow my mother-in-law, my father-in-law, and my dad. All entered with huge smiles on their faces. All of them hold and play with Nathan and they also are excited about the name.

When they left and I fed Nathan I tried to stand up.

“Let me help you,” Chris said and he took my hand

“I’m ok baby,” I say and I smile at him

“I know.” He says and we walk together to the bathroom

“You are in pain?”

“No. The medicine is good. Just tired and a little dizzy”

“Understood,” he says and I enter the bathroom. When I finished I walked outside and he was there waiting for me. He helps me again until the bed.

“I’m sorry”

“For what?” He asks with a frown

“I yelled at you before. When we were in labor room” I say and I caress his cheek. He helps me lay on the bed and he kisses me.

“I know that you had a difficult time there. You gave birth to our son so I understand.”

“Still I....” he kissed me again and I didn’t manage to finish

“It’s fine.” He says and he smiles

“I love you,” I say

“I love you too.”

Two days later we are home. Nathan is sleeping in his room. Linda after our dinner is also in her room and I with Chris cuddle outside next to the pool.

“I’m thinking that Dany and Matt said”

“About the production company?” I ask

“Yeah. I think is a good idea to do it. I’m getting older, I can’t have the roles I had before. And this allows me to continue to work with something that I want”

“That’s great. If you like it you should do it.” I say and we kiss

“Thank you. You are always so supportive” I smile and look at him

“You are too with me.” I kiss him and he kisses me back

“These three years with you were the best of my life”

“More will come,” I say and he laughs

“I make sure of that. I promised you that every day I will do everything to be happy”

“You did. And until now you kept your promise”

We stay like that until late and then we check our son. Then we go to sleep. As I lay next to my husband I couldn’t help but remember how my life changed from that night at the club. I’m so grateful to the girls that convinced me to go with them that night. Because of them, I met my celebrity crush and I live happily ever after with him. I lift my head and look at him. He smiles at me

“Kiss me,” I say

“Gladly,” he says with a huge smile and he kisses me passionately and sensual just like I want it. And he knows what I love...
