***Ivy's POV*** I was playing in the backyard with my older brother Max. Our mother was in her garden picking flowers when we heard growls coming from the forest. My Mother jumped up and started running towards us, she grabbed hold of Max and I and dragged us into the safe house. “What's going on mum?” I asked her but she didn’t answer me. ”Max, you must keep Ivy safe just like we practiced.” My mum said to him. He nodded and grabbed hold of my hand and pulled me behind him. My mother turned to face us and smiled. “I love you both so much.” She said with a tear running down her check. I tried to get around Max to hang her, but she turned around and ran back out of the safe house. I tried to run after her, but Max grabbed hold of my arm pulling me away from the door before he closed and locked it. I looked at him in shock not understanding why mum had left. “What's going on Max?” I asked starting to panic. “We must stay in here Ivy, there are bad people out there, we have to wait until mum comes and gets us. Can you do that?” He asked me grabbing hold of my arms and pulling me closer to him, I nodded my head and cuddled in closer to him. A minute later we heard the growls then the sound of fighting and I knew that mum was fighting for her life. I was so scared that I couldn’t move, all I wanted was my mother, I didn’t know what was happening or why this was happening. We heard a wolf whimpering close to the door. It sounded like mum, but I wasn’t quite sure, I knew she was in pain, and I wanted to help her so badly. I pushed Max away and ran towards the door trying with all my strength to pull it open to get to her, but I wasn’t strong enough. Max stopped me and pulled me in front of him. He got down on his knees and looked into my eyes, The seriousness in them made me stop struggling and focuses on what he needed to say. ”Wait here! I'm going to see if I can help. Stay here Ivy, you are too little to help, and you will get hurt, I wouldn’t be able to live with myself if you got hurt, so please stay here. I will bring mum back.” Max said. I looked at him and started to cry. “It will be ok little bug. Make sure you close and lock the door after I leave, I won’t be long. I love you, stay here okey!” he kissed the top of my head and I nodded at him. Max slowly unlocked the door and opened it as quietly as he could. Once he had the door opened enough for him to fit through, he shifted into his wolf and left. I quickly closed and locked the door behind him. I heard more growls and howling, They were louder than before, and I knew they had found my brother. I put my hands over me ears not wanting to listen to the fight. I couldn’t bear the sounds of their pain. I curled up in a ball on the floor and tried to drown out the sounds. That was the last time I saw my brother and my mother. I was 13 when the wolves attacked my family, and I will never forget the sounds of the fighting and the pain of my family’s bond breaking as they died. The pain of never seeing my family again was more than I could handle. After Max left to help my mother the sounds of fighting slowly stopped. It took me half an hour to get up off the floor and leave the safe house to look for my family. As I opened the door my sense when into overdrive with the smell of blood. I slowly made my way up the stairs and stopped as I go to the top not expecting to see a puddle of blood. A tear ran down my check and I looked around trying to find Max, but I couldn’t see him. I stepped over the blood and walked slowly towards the back door. What I saw made my blood run cold, I placed my hands over my mouth to stop the scream that wanted to escape, I saw Max lying on his back just outside the back door and I ran over to him hoping to the Moon Goddess that he was still alive. ”Max!” I cried as I kneeled down beside him, I shock him trying to wake him up, that’s when I saw all the blood. There was so much of it, he had crawl marks all over his chest and legs and I knew it was too late, he was gone. “No, please don’t go! I need you, please come back. Moon Goddess please bring him back I need him.“ I sobbed and prayed for him to come back to me. I placed my head on his chest trying to listen to his heart beat but there was no sound. I cried out for someone to help, but no one came. I got up and kissed Max on his forehead. “I’m sorry Max, I love you so much. Moon Goddess please help my brother find peace and to welcome him to his next life.” I sat with him for a few minutes praying that the Moon Goddess will protect his spirit. I eventually stood up on shaky legs and headed out the back to try and find mum. I walked in a daze through the back trying to find her. I headed towards her garden hoping that she was okey. I came around the corner and began to cry even harder, I saw my mother on the ground surrounded in a pool of blood, my breath caught in my throat and I sank to my knees unable to take my weight. Why was this happening? They can’t be dead. “Someone please help!” I screamed and ran over to my mother, I knelt down beside her and touched her face, but I already knew she was gone. I placed my hand on her check and closed my eyes, I prayed to the Moon Goddess again feeling my heart break as I did. I heard a stick snap behind me, I turned my head toward the sound and saw eyes looking back at me, I stood up getting ready to fight for my life. I relaxed a little when Beta Luca stepped out of the forest and looked around. “What happened here?” He growled and walked over to me with wide eyes. “We heard growls in the forest, mum rushed us to the safehouse. She told me and Max to stay in the safehouse, she went out to see what was happening. We heard howls then a fight, we thought mum was in trouble, so Max left the safe house and shifted to help her. He told me to stay and he would come and get when it was safe, but he never came back. I left the safe house and went to find him when I saw him lying on the floor, I ran over to him, But it was too late he was gone. I walked out here to get help and to try and find mum, that's when I saw her on the ground.” My body was shaking uncontrollably now, and I couldn’t stop the sobs as I explained what had happened. Luca looked behind me and scowled his eyebrows. “Did you do this?” He questioned me. I looked at him in shock. “No, it was the wolves, they attacked us.” I looked up at him in disbelief. Luca walked over and kneeled beside my mother. “There are no other signs of these wolves you calm to have attacked, you did this didn't you? Don't lie to me. You have blood all over you.” He growled pointing at me. “I didn’t do this, I would never hurt my family. I don’t even have my wolf yet, how could I do this!?” I said shocked that he would suggest something like that. Beta Luca stood up and walked over to me. He grabbed hold of my wrist and wrapped it behind my back. I flinch and tried to put away. He bent down and whispered into my ear. “I don’t have to believe the words of a 13-year-old girl. I just have to look at the scene and it tells me what happened here.” He growled and stood back up. I shock my head and tried to pull away from him, but he held my wrist tighter against my back. “I will be taking you to the dungeon while I investigate what happened here. The Alpha will want to speak to you as well and the more you struggle the worse the pain will be.” He said and he started to drag me away, I felt my arm bend the wrong way as I tried to get out of his grip when a shooting pain shot up my arm. I cried out and looked up at him trying to get him to stop and listen to me. ”No please I didn't do this, you have to believe me I would never hurt my family! Please let me go you are going to break my arm.” I cried and tried to get out of his grip but he was too strong. Beta Luca turned around and slapped me across the face. I winced and looked up at him in shock, I though I saw sadness in his eyes but when I looked closer there was just discussed. ”Stop crying you worthless she wolf!” He growled and continued to dragged me towards the dungeon. When we got there, he opened the door and dragged me in he closed the door behind me. I looked around the small room, it was so dark in here that I could barely see. I could smell the mold on the walls and it was so cold that I had started shivering. Luca walked me further into the dungeon until we stopped in front of one of the ceils, I saw a small window at the back of the cell and realized this was where he was putting me. Luca turned to face me a signed. “Wait there while I open the cell door. Don’t try and run its not worth the pain you will be in.” He looked at me sternly, all I could do was just steer at him. He slowly let go of my wrist and walked over to the cell door to unlock it. I looked over my shoulder at the door that lead outside, I heard his warning in my head but I didn’t care, I needed to get out of this situation and figure out what happened to my family. I turned and ran as fast as I could. As I reached the door I heard a roar and turned to look back at Luca, he had started running after me. As I open door and went to run for my life, I ran into a hard chest and fell to the fall hard. I looked up at who it was and my eyes went wide, William one of the guards was standing there looking down at me with a murderous look on his face, He moved towards me , I tried to back away from his reach when I felt Luca grab a hold of my wrist and picked me up. I kicked and scratched to get out of his grip but it was no use. He dragged me back towards the cell and through me in locking the door with a growl, as I landed on the cold ground my head hit the concrete with a bang, I tried desperately to keep my eyes open but the throbbing pain was to much and I passed out. A few hours had past, and I heard whispering coming from somewhere in the dungeon. I tried to sit up the but the room started spinning so I laid back down. I felt a throbbing pain in the back of my head, I moved my hand to the back of my head and felt something wet. I moved my hand in front of my face and saw blood on my fingertips. I felt like vomiting and closed my eyes and waited for everything to stop spinning. I heard the bang on a chair being placed in front of me, I opened my eyes and turned my head to see who it was. Alpha Jack was sitting in front of my cell with an evil smile on his face. I gasped not wanting him to come near me. I sat up slowly and moved all the way to the back of my cell trying to get as far away from him as I could. Alpha Jack was not a very nice Alpha, he took advantage of younger Omega’s and he had a reputation of punching first asking question later. When he took over the Pack 3 years ago, my mother would tell me to never leave the house without her or my brother with me as it wasn’t safe anymore for young females to wonder off alone, the thought of my mum brought tears to my eyes and I looked at Alpha Jack with an angry look on my face. His smile widened and a small chuckle came out. “Nice to see that you are awake Ivy. I believe I have some question that need answering.” He said and lend closer to the bars but not touching them. I didn’t say a word to him and he growled. “Why did you kill your family?” I gasped and stood up. “Alpha Jack please you have to believe me, I would never hurt my family.” I sobbed in a week voice, I walked slowly over to the cell bars not wanting to get close to him but needing him to believe me. He just smile at me, I became despite, I needed him to believe that I would never hurt my family. As I placed my hands on the bars to tell him just that, I squealed as pain erupted under my hands, I pulled them back towards my chest and looked down, blusters had started to form from where I had touched the bars. I looked back up and noticed they were made from silver. Alpha Jack chuckled at me. “Be careful they bite. I don’t believe that you didn’t kill your family, we looked at the scene, the only bodies we found were those of your mother and brother. There were no other signs of other wolves except you Ivy. When Bate Luca found you, you were kneeling in front of your mother covered in your bother and mothers blood, no one else was there." I shook my head and looked back down at my hands, this could not be happening. He chuckled at the helpless look on my face, I looked back up at him, the look on his face made me uneasy making me move back to the back of my cell , he looked at me like I was a meal and he couldn't wait to taste me. I couldn’t understand what was going on, why did no one believe me. I just shook my head and curled into a ball on the cold concrete and started crying. Alpha Jack laughed and stood up moving closer to the bars. ”Your so pathetic.” He spat at me. I didn’t even look up at him. He growled and turned his back to me picking up the chair and started to walk away. “You will not last one day in my Pack, but hey I need workers, you are to be taken to the Pack house.” I look up at him in a panic remembering what mum had said about him. He smiled down at me and I saw that hungry look in his eyes again. “Because you are underage and you have no family left you will live there from now on as a punishment for killing your family. You will become the Pack slave for your crimes, your duties will include cooking, cleaning and laundry for the Pack worriers and everyone that lives in the Pack house, do I make myself clear?” I was so sick to my stomach that I couldn’t answer him. I couldn’t breathe, what was going on, why did they not believe me? They knew I wasn’t old enough to have my wolf yet so why were they blaming me for this. Alpha Jack growled when I didn’t respond. ”You will stay in the dungeon until your room is ready. Gamma John will be here to collect you once everything is set up, he will be bringing you to the Packhouse.” He said and started to leave the dungeon but stopped just shy of the door and turned back to face me. “Oh, and I would be careful, he likes them young.” He laughed as he walked out of the dungeon slamming the door shut behind him. That night I cried myself to sleep, I had no family left and I had know idea what was going to happen to me? I woke up a few hours later in a cold sweat, screaming for my mum. It was to dark to see anything past my nose and I started to panic, I called out for Max but didn’t get a response, I remembered then what happened just a few hours ago and started sobbing again. I couldn’t bring myself to go back to sleep, I looked out the little window in my cell and saw that it was a full moon, I prayed to the Moon Goddess to help me get thought this, but to know why this was happening to me. I knew she wouldn’t reply to me. I laid back down on the cold concrete and wrapped my arms around myself, I couldn’t breathe or stop the tears from falling, all I wanted to do was have my mother and brother back and to be at home safe in my bed. A few hours later the sun slowly started to rise and I heard the door open to the dungeons open. I saw a massive muscled man walk through with tanned skin and bleached blond hair. He had no shirt on and smiled down at me. I saw he had a tray of food in his hand and walked over with it. I guessed this was Gamma John by the look on his face. He throw the food though the bars and it landed all over the floor. I looked at the mess and then up at him. “Eat up, this is all you’re going to get for the week, they’re still working out your room.” He smiled at me. It wasn’t a nice smile and I moved further back up against the wall. He chuckled and turned around, slamming the door shut behind him. I looked out the window and heard the birds singing, I felt tears run down my face again and tried to wipe them away. I could not let them see my weakness any longer, but the tears just kept coming, I wished I could be with my family.
