“Judy, where do you think your relationship with Peter is going?” I let that question sink in before I asked my next one. “What do you think the future holds for the two of you?”
Once she started to answer, I kept probing her. In her mind, she had the entire future planned for the two of them, and she was more than happy to share her dreams with me. As she talked, her voice took on a dreamy tone, almost as if she were reciting a beloved fairytale. The more detailed she wove, the more I saw she had created a complete story for her and Peter. I was determined that her fairytale wouldn’t end with the evil witch winning.
