“You got that part right.” Winter chuckled, but I was fascinated by it all. Religion in general was an absolutely fascinating topic. Why do people believe the things they do? Or why don’t they? It’s a question that, when asked, gets you a completely different rationale from the person answering the question if you’re brave enough to scratch the surface.
I find it all so fascinating. But, that still doesn’t answer why a priest would refuse to help someone in need. I mean, isn’t that supposed to be their job? Especially when you’re talking about spirituality? Or is a spirit only worth saving if it’s still inside its natural-born host?
