(April’s POV)
I didn’t really sleep last night until I was so exhausted I had no choice, and then I went out so soundly I overslept this morning. Which kind of worked to my advantage because everyone seemed so happy I’d gotten a little extra sleep.
I didn’t, but I didn’t wanna wipe their bright smiles from their faces, so I just let it be. Though I did laugh when I opened my door this morning to find Jessie and Chelsea sitting on the floor with their legs criss-crossed, sitting across from my door, whispering to each other.
“What're you two doing?” I giggled as they turned to look at me, both smiling cheerfully. “Waiting for you. We were hoping you’d take us all over to the training grounds so we could see how things work around here.”
