When April came barreling into the room she looked like she might just take poor Aggie’s head off. I couldn’t let her interrupt Ag, so I quickly moved to stand in front of her, putting my hands on her shoulders, so I could look into her eyes.
I know my eyes were pleading with her to calm down but there was only so much I could say in front of Alex. “April, please. We’re not hurting him.” I tried to say, but her eyes remained focused on Ag, and it was clear to see she wasn’t paying any attention to me.
I didn’t really believe April would hurt us. But if she did anything to stop Ag, then our chance at resolving this issue would be lost.
