“Just like that? So now Ken hasn’t got a chance to be Alpha anymore?” Mia asked. The shock wasn’t even worn off the rest of us properly and she was already on this bullsh*t again.
My first instinct was to turn around and punch her. But I chose to ignore that instinct in favor of keeping Alex from doing even worse. I suppose I should’ve been paying better attention to Ken, though. Because before anyone could react he bellowed so loud the rafter shook. “ENOUGH! I am f*ckin sick to death of you with this bullsh*t! When are you going to get it through that thick f*ckin head of yours that I DON’T WANT TO BE ALPHA?!”
