Is it fate or bad luck?

The resturant on the left of the club was a popular pizza place that served a little bit of everything. Cassandra fell in love with the brick walls and black shiny floor. There was even a game room for kids and families and another room with tall black tables with chrome colored bar stools and pool tables. "What would you like?" Luke asked Cassandra. She couldn't help put like the desire in his eyes. She noticed the same look in Blakes eyes but he quickly looked away. "I like about anything except anchovies." "I will order us something if you want to go find us a seat you like." Luke said softly. "Sure, I'm just going to go wash up first and I will meet you back here."Cassandra said looking around to find the restroom. She needed to get her head togather at what just happened in the club. The s****l intensity between Luke and Blake was throwing her off her game. However, she was thankful that they helped her with Todd. She knew he was such a creep deep down and if they hadn't had been there she just might have had to take her heels off and beat the crap out of him. After using the restroom, washing up, and the fast prep talk she gave herself she was ready to take the world on again. When she walked out of the womens restroom that was located outside the pool room she saw Luke and Blake in a very heated arugement with another man. He was well built and blonde hair that was slicked back but not as bulky as Luke and Blake and when she neared them she could hear the growl in there voices. It set her on edge. The man turned towards her and she had never seen eyes like his before. They was litteraly changing colors of blue. "AHH" the man said "This must be the ones whose captured your attention. You are very beautiful, but I promised Luke a long time ago that anything he ever valued would never stay his. So, I must kill you." The man came towards her faster than her eyes could track and she felt herself being pushed behind someone. There was a sound of plates crashing to the floor and of something heavy hitting the wall. "You will not touch what is MINE!" The man just laughed as he spit blood out of his mouth and wiped the blood from his nose and lips. He locked eyes with her briefly around Blakes big shoulders. "You shall not look upon HER!" she heard Luke vicously growled out at the man. "You claim a human over any others of our kind, you must have lost your mind." "You know you are breaking the truce here. This is the time of peace between all tribes. You want to start a war now with the most powerful alphas here. Be my guest. I would be glad to be rid of you once and for all. If you come near her again that's excatly what will happen." The man started at Luke to see if his words rang with truth. "You and I was as close as brothers once. When you bonded to my sister, but when you killed her..." The man said with strong saddness turning into anger at the end."It was not my fault! I Mourned her for many of years and I had nothing but blackness and heartache for all those years. She told me when she was dying in my arms to forgive myself and find happiness. I am not betraying her I am doing what she asked of me. I have found peace as I wish for you. I am not your enemy. Please lets end this now and move forward." Luke pleaded with the man. "I will never be at peace. You are right about the treaty. I will leave now and respect the OTHER alphas. I will give you one month. When the next full moon is at it's peak If you are not bonded with the HUMAN, I will kill her myself and burn her body in front of you and make you watch. Then, I WILL kill you next. I give you my word on this for one last gift to my sister." The man turned and walked away pausing at the door frame and locked eyes with Luke, Blake, then Cassandra. "One month" and disappeared out the door. Cassandra felt like the world had flipped upside down and she felt a gentle shake. Luke was talking to her but she was in a state of shock and could barly hear him. "Breathe, Breathe, that's it sweetheart. Everything is going to be alright." For the third time that night she felt anger but not just anger a red hot at her core like she could burn the place down to the ground if she wanted. "None of this is normal, this is not going to be okay. I just was threatened to be killed by someone who hates you! I did not ask for any of this and I'm gone and you can just go jump off a cliff for all I care!" She yelled at Luke and judgeing by the look on his face he was not use too. "First of all make no mistake I am not someone you can yell at or order around. Second of all you are coming with us because like it or not Jake will make good on his promise and kill you. I am the only one who can keep you safe now." The anger in between was almost tangible. Cassandra was beyond mad at being forced into something she had no idea of what she just got into but worse she hated that her body was betraying her and she could feel her own wetness. "BLAKE" Luke yelled his eyes a bright green yelled. "Get the pizzas and whatever else Cassandra might want to go, we are going to the hotel." "What part of i'm not going anywhere with you do you not get? I have no clue who you are and what I just got drugged into by being here with you two. I"M NOT GOING!" Luke stepped closer to her so they was barly any space between them looking down at her with his arms crossed and anger painted all over his face."Lets try this another way." He said deadly calm. "Please come back to the hotel with us and let me explain everything to you. I will help you understand the depth of the danger you are truly in. Like it or not sweetheart you are stuck with me now." Cassandra leaned closer to him and said between her clenched teeth "I am not your sweetheart, you don't own me.I will come with you and listen and then I will leave when I want too. You will not stop me." "Deal" Luke said with a smug grin on his face. "Excuse me miss" Blake said polietly. "I got the meat lovers pizzas being boxed up as well as some wings and dessert. However, I'm not sure what you want to drink they have bottles of about anything you can think of." "I would love some diet coke please and thank you Blake for asking me." "My pleasure." His eyes stayed on her a little too long and Luke growled at him. Like actually growled. Blake must have been use to this as he took off immediatly. "He will meet us at the hotel." Luke calloused said. Was he jelous of his own friend? Cassandra thought to herself. That's odd. "What hotel I will drive myself?" Cassandra asked. " We are staying at the Hilton do you know where it is?" Of course they was staying there. It was just the most riches hotel around. "Yes, i do" she relpied. "Good, I will walk you to your car and follow you." Luke said grudingly. "You already don't trust me. You think I need to be babysitted?" she asked anger spiking again. "No, I do believe you will show up but I wouldn't put it past Jake to have let it slip about my claim on you and I want to make sure you make it there in one piece."
