Next morning, Reina woke up in the same master bedroom, but she does recall that at night she was at the Manor's door, trying to get out of this place.
As she looked around the room, she spots a letter under the wardrobe, where it was barely visible. Another letter from her aunt Saira? But why would she recieve another letter, when her aunt is already on her way to her trip to Greenland?
Reina aproached the wardrobe and picked up the letter, but this letter seemed to be slightly different, since it seemed a lot older and more torn, than it was from previous letter, which she recieved.
She opened the letter and it almost teared appart, so she tried to be gentle with it, just to read all the contains of this letter.
_"Dear reader, I'm the previous owner of Gauthier Manor, even though I don't know which year could it be for you, and I wish to inform you, that you need to get out of here, otherwise **it** wishes to get blood of pure being, that has not sinned, so if you're reading this, it means that you have found this letter, because of your pure heart. This letter is enchanted and will not be visible to anyone, that doesn't have pure heart or hasn't sacrificed their happiness for others sake."_
After Reina read the letter, she imideatly knew that everything she saw wasn't just a dream, becouse the woman she saw at night, was the same woman that wrote this letter. How did she know? That woman left her photo in the letter, but why? Did she knew that Reina wouldn't understand anything and will just think that everything she saw was just a nightmare.
Suddent knock on bedroom's door disturbed Reina and she quickly hid away the letter under the bed and opened the door for the person, that knocked on the bedroom's door.
"Yes? How can I help you?"
As she asked that, she was greeted by red haired maid, but she didn't seemed like she's some kind of strange creature, like Reina saw yesterday, before collapsing, she seemed like a normal human being, making Reina believe, that everything that happened yesterday might have been just hallucinations.
"I was sent here to call you to the dining room, lady."
The redhead maid said to Reina, but it did seem like she wasn't happy to even be here, not even the slightest.
"I see..may I know your name?"
Once Reina asked that question, redhead maid scoffed and was annoyed, which was a lot more different than interaction with Eigra, that was happy to introduce herself.
"My name is Everett. May I go now?"
With that question, Everett simply left, without letting Reina to answer.
After unpleasant conversation with Everett, Reina walked down the same halls, where she saw that woman, pleading for her children to be safe, while dying herself, which sent shivers down her spine, whenever she tought about it.
While walking trought the halls, she noticed that there was one door slightly opened to the room behind it, so she took a peek, just to see if there is someone inside, that she could ask directions to the dining room, since Everett wasn't willing to show the way.
As Reina took a look what's behind the door, she saw that it was elegant office, clearly used by previous owners, since it was slightly a mess with documents, that the Manor workers never dared to touch.
Reina went inside this office, since it was empty, just to take a better look at this office.
First thing she noticed, was how much everything is covered in dust, almost like she could make small figures out of it, but how did this office turn in such state? For this much dust, this office should have been not touched at least for decades, but...her aunt just recently gave her the Gauthier Manor...
"Everything seems so strange, that my head is starting to hurt.."
Reina sighs as she gets more puzzled by everything that is happening to her, because it's too much to take in at once.
"Huh? What's that?"
Suddenly Reina spotted a picture, which had a gorgeous woman on it with brown hair and such bright smile, which could take any worries away. She looked almost like Reina, but the difference was their age, because that woman in the picture seemed to be in her thirties.
"Is that my aunt Saira? She seems...nice, but why would she leave her office in such state?"
Even when looking at the picture of her aunt, she wanted to feel somewhat safe, since Saira looked so happy, but unfortunatly, Reina felt very uneasy, since reading letter and experiencing that nightmare really affected her.
"Something is very off, but...I just can't understand what exactly is it."
As Reina spoke to herself, she heard Eigra's cherfull tone outside her aunt's office, so she put the picture of her aunt back in it's place and went outside to meet Eigra.
"Hi, Eigra was it? I was just wondering if you could help me find the dining room."
Eigra looked at Reina with suprise, since she didn't expected to see Reina appear out of nowhere.
"Ofcourse, my lady! But how did you manage to sneak up to me like that? I'm usually very good at spotting even the slightest movement!"
At Eigra's words, Reina just looked at her confused. Was Eigra serious or was she just joking? How come she didn't see how Reina came out of aunt Saira's office?
Eigra's strange demand puzzled Reina, because how could she not see the door to her aunt's office? Or at least the huge space this office takes up in the hallway?
"We should probably go already. Massai is waiting for you, but don't be too scared like last time, lady, we're not that scary, we just look different."
After these words, Reina looked at Eigra and was confused, because it seems too strange that the fact that it's the truth that there are mystical beings around this mansion, but something as normal as her aunt's office seems fake to them, since they don' t see it.
"So… you're telling me that everything I saw yesterday was true? They're all… something other than human? Even you, Eigra?"
Reina asked but she held back on calling them monsters as she already had enough on her plate and adding angry creatures would be overwhelming.
"Yes, we are different, but are not evil... and yes, I am different too."
Once Eigra said this, she looked at Reina with a wide smile while pointing at her pink eyes that showed that she was not just an ordinary person, but truly something else.
"I'm a fairy!"
Reina was confused by Eigra's words. A fairy? But she looks normal?
Before Reina could ask about it, Eigra opened the door for them and led Reina into the dining room.
Like every other room in this manor, the dining room was filled with luxurious furniture and decorations, but the most refreshing sight in this room was that it had a little dandelion growing on the windowsill, which the maids hadn't plucked out yet.
"This is the dining room, so take a seat and we will soon bring you, your breakfast, lady!"
Eigra said and with that, she left the room, while Reina took a seat, but when she did that, she suddenly was aproached by an old man, that was covering his face with his hands, which were...green?
"...who are y-"
Before Reina could finish talking, the old man spoke, leaving Reina no other choice just to listen to him.
"Please, lady, don't panick. I know it may seem strange to you, but just listen to me"
The old man removed his hands off from his face and revealed his face, which didn't look human at all, but more like a goblin, but aren't goblins just small creatures? Why is he quite tall, almost like a human?
"I'm your new butler, Massai. I guess Eigra had mentioned me before, but just to be sure, I'll tell you a bit about me."
"I'm the butler of the Gauthier Manor, which always has been place where no one judges and everyone can live in harmony, but for the past centuries it isn’t the same as previous owner had passed away..."
With the last sentence, Massai seemed to be slightly upset by the fact, that the owner of Gauthier Manor had passed away, but he quickly shrugged it off and continued to talk about himself, while Reina listened.
