Chapter 15

“Maybe you can start talking about yourself.” Sun said.

“What should I tell you then?” I asked.

Sun flashed his sweetest smile again. “Anything that you can think of.”

It took me a while before I could answer. I was thinking about his offer. It’s really hard for me to trust someone, and it’s a ghost. Maybe he will do no harm since no one can see him, aside from me. I watched him as he rolled over my bed like a child. Sun seems to be pretty comfortable around me. Why is that? Somehow, I feel better too when he is around. The atmosphere is cold, but the vibe that he is giving off was better than anyone else. It was warm like the Sun.

“I’ll think about it.”

“Okay, you can tell me anytime you want. I think I will be around you for a longer time, until we find out how I can break away from the force that was binding me on you.”

I lied down on my bed and did not bother if he was there. I can feel that he was shocked by my actions too.

“About the rules I mentioned yesterday, I have two in my mind already.” I said.

“What is it?” He said as he blinked towards the window.

“I’ll be honest with you, okay. Since you mentioned that I am the only one that can see you. First, don’t startle me. My heart almost fell out of my chest earlier because of what you did, haha.”

I can see the disappointment in his eyes when I mentioned that. I know that he did not mean to do that, but it’s better to tell him. He might do it again next time without noticing it.

“Okay, that’s fine with me. I’ll apologize for what I did earlier. What’s the other one?” Sun asked.

“You know that I am working with a lot of business right? I don’t want any distractions during that time. Especially if I need to do a lot of things.” I said.

“Okay, got it. I promise to follow what you said. But if you need help, maybe you can tell me sometimes.” He suggested.

“Well, thank you for the offer. I’ll think about it.” I said.

After that, I said goodnight to him as I will begin my day early tomorrow.

Again I woke up with the sound of the roosters crowing, but this time it was earlier than yesterday. I guess my body clock will have a hard time adjusting to this. I looked around the room to look for the certain person, but he is not around here. It’s really a mystery on how he just appears near me and at the same time, disappears without me knowing.

I was about to check my phone, but instead I decided to look outside the window. I need a change of pace. The reason why I chose this farm is because of the ambiance, and I don’t want to ruin that by stressing myself on things that will not do me good.

I looked at the sun that was rising, the color that was slowly changing and calming my heart. The fresh air around me filled my nose, giving me peace that I longed. It was just a few days after that I decided to leave the life of being the son of a billionaire, but it already made me feel that I am free. I did not have regrets in doing that.

The air was still a bit chilly so I took my cardigan and headed to the kitchen. I saw Cynthia and the other staff preparing food while some were eating their breakfast.

“Good morning, Sir Ray!” Cynthia greeted me as she was preparing a cup of coffee for the workers.

As soon as the other staff heard my name, they hurriedly stood up and greeted me as well.

“Good morning, Cynthia and everyone. Please sit down and continue what you were doing.” I said and smiled at them.

Everyone went back slowly to what they were doing and I can feel that some were shy with my presence around.

“Please, don’t mind me everyone.” I said, and smiled at them. Maybe I should get out of here already so that I will not bother them.
