Chapter 50

I spent the whole day checking on my phone for the updates and what needs to be done until I fell asleep. It was evening already when I woke up. I was feeling better unlike in the morning.

“How are you Ray?” The familiar voice said. I looked around the room and he was sitting on the other side of the bed. I don’t know but my body reacted quickly, rushing towards Sun and hugged him. To our surprise, I did not pass through him and I can hug him physically.

“I was waiting for you.” I said, shocked by the words I blurted out.

"Sorry, Ray. I wanted to watch over you the whole day, but I can be with you when the night falls. I don't know the reason why." Sun said, looking at me with his lonely eyes.

Surprised, my body moved on it’s own and ran towards Sun. I hugged him tightly, not saying anything, and he stood there silently too. I can feel that he was surprised too, because of passing through him, I can feel his body. The gentle cold aura from him wrapped around me, bringing comfort. The sound that we can hear was the wind from outside, our breathing and our heartbeat. I release myself from him, moving back, but he pulled me back, hugging me tightly even more. Warmth covered my entire face as his chilly breath hit my neck.

“I am glad that you are okay now, Ray. Those nights that I can’t take care of you was like a torture for me, seeing you in that condition.” He whispered.

Hearing those words made my body melt, and my heart was about to explode.

“Don’t worry, Sun. I am okay now, and I wanted to thank you for saving me, for taking care of me.” I answered. I rubbed his back to comfort him.

We stayed like that for a couple of minutes when we suddenly heard something fell on the floor. We moved away from each other, and looked at the direction of the door. It was Miko, smiling awkwardly.

“Did I disturb you?” Miko said, bending down and started picking up the tray he was carrying. I hurried towards him, and helped him pick up the things on the floor.

“Why didn’t you tell me?” Miko whispered.

“About what?”

“That guy over there, and how did he get here without passing the main gate?” He asked.

“Silly, that’s Sun!” I said.

“What?!” My friend exclaimed.

“Hey, calm down.” I said and looked at Sun. He was just looking at us, smiling. I told Sun to sit down as Miko and I continued cleaning the things that fell on the floor.

“Sun, we will carry this back first at the kitchen.” I said,

“Do you want me to help?” Sun said, and was about to stand up.

“No, it’s okay. We will be back soon.” Miko said and pulled me towards the door. I just looked at Sun, and he just smiled at us. After leaving, Miko was looking at me suspiciously.

“Care to explain?” Miko said.
