Chapter 116

The four of them continued to walk and reached where everyone was gathered. The staff and workers kept on congratulating the couple. That night, the air was filled with pure happiness.

There was pure excitement for everyone as the heir of the farm was born. The couple made all the necessary preparations, doing everything that the doctor suggested to them.

"Do you already have a name in mind?" Roman asked his wife, who was busy writing proposals for thier clients.

"I have a lot in mind now. Since he will be our light, what about the moon or star?" Mercedes suggested.

"Well, me too. I have a lot in mind, still we need to know our baby's gender so that we can decide. Our staff are giving us name suggestions too." Roman said.

"They are more excited than us. And I am really happy since they were also expecting our baby. I can feel that our child will receive all the love in the world." Mercedes smiled.

"I know. We are really lucky after everything that happened to us. I cannot wait to see how our child will grow into a fine person." Roman said and hugged his wife.

"By the way, I think that the news that I am pregnant reached our families already. My sister called me earlier to congratulate me, but there were no words about my Mom and Dad." Mercedes said.

"About that, I still haven't heard any word from my side. Well, I am used to it and there is no point for us to prove anything to them. We made it on our own and our priority now is our child." Roman answered.

"You are right. Let's make sure that our child will be showered with love." Mercedes said.

The couple continued talking about their hopes and dreams for their family.

Months passed by and the Mango orchard became a hit. Words from the business world travelled fast and the neighboring countries wanted to import their products. Mercedes was already on her eight month of pregnancy and it was also a crucial stage.

The doctor suggested that Mercedes should take things lightly already and prepare her body. Mercedes still wanted to help his husband and tried on insisting, but Roman wouldn't allow it. Mercedes agreed in the end.

Roman asked Cynthia to take care of Mercedes and she agreed happily. It was also her dream to have a child of her own, but her priorities were to help her family.

A month passed and it was almost Mercedes due date.
