Chapter 52

“Nice to meet you Sun.” Miko said, extending his hand.

“Nice to meet you too.” Sun answered, reaching for Miko’s hand and smiling brightly.

Miko suddenly flinched his hand, but decided to hold on to Sun. I know the feeling. Sun's body temperature is much lower than us since he is already a soul. I looked at Sun, but he was still smiling at Miko. I hope he did not notice my friend's reaction and I don't want to hurt his feelings.

"Finally, I am able to meet you, Sun." Miko said.

"Me too. I was glad that I was able to talk with you, unlike before, I am just watching you when you talk with Ray." Sun said,

"You mean you have been here for a long time already?" Miko asked.

"Yes, and I am sorry that I might have eavesdrop on what you were talking about."

Miko looked at me with a surprised reaction, like he was telling me that I did not warn him. I just smiled at him.

"It's okay, at least I got to meet you Sun. I heard a lot about you from Ray, and you really seem nice, like he told me." Miko said.

Sun just smiled and looked at us.

"To be honest, I don't know what to feel now." Sun said.

"Why?" I asked.

"I think I told you before, Ray. The fact that I am a spirit, and no one can see me. But this time, you can see me. I am happy and at the same time, afraid of what will happen." Sun said.

"We understand, Sun. No need to worry, my friend here is trustworthy despite his looks." I said.

Miko and I were shocked by the sudden burst of laughter. I was telling the truth, but why did he laugh like that? Miko laughed too, and in the end, laughter filled the room.

I told the two that I would just clean myself first, and left them. They were busy chatting so I headed towards the restroom. I can hear them talking from the inside, and I can feel how Sun has gotten comfortable with Miko.

A thought suddenly crossed my mind. What if Sun is alive? Will it make a difference when I meet him for the first time? Will it be the same or will I just ignore him?

After a couple of minutes, I went out of the bathroom and looked at the two. They were still busy talking about things that they had not noticed me.

"Do you want to go with us?" Miko asked Sun.

"Where?"

"Next week, we will be going back to the city for a business meeting." Miko said.

Wait? What? Did I hear Miko correctly? He is asking Sun to go with us? I was about to react when I heard Miko again.

"Oh, right Sun. I heard from my friend that you cannot go far from him, right? Then this is an opportunity for you to go on a trip." Miko said.

My friend was right. Whether I like it or not, since Sun is bound to me, he will be at the place where I am.
