Chapter 69

A few days had passed and everything went normal. Sun was getting used to the company of other people, while on the other hand it was the same for my workers. They never asked why Sun cannot be disturbed in the morning. They might have believed what we told them when Sun was out to them for the first time.

It was the day that we will be leaving back to the city. Everyone was getting busy as we were preparing. It appeared like a grand send off, but I told everyone that they should do things normally because we will be out just for a few days for our business meetings. They insisted because they told us that we are part of the family, and want us to be comfortable before travelling back.

I was at the office discussing everything that needed to be done while we were away. Everyone agreed with my suggestions and I am pretty confident that they will be doing well without my presence. They have proven that when I got into an accident a few weeks ago.

“So, what about our schedules?” I asked Miko, who was busy fixing the papers that we will be carrying.

“I sent it to your schedule planner, Ray. I sorted out everything so that we will have more time for your plan.” Miko answered.

Perfect. I know we will be out there a few days, but I wanted to make sure that everything will go smoothly as planned. Of course, I have to prepare for the meeting with my sister as well. The day went by as we completed our tasks and made sure that there will be issues once we left.

It was five in the afternoon when I headed back to my room to prepare the things that I will be carrying. I took out a few clothes for me, and I added some things that Sun can use. Now, I hope everything works because of my situation with Sun. Wherever I am, he will be near the area too.

At one time, we tried to check how far I go before Sun is pulled back to me. We reached for almost a kilometer. The radius was wide enough, but I cannot let him out of my sight. This will be his first time going out to the city. I don’t want him to get lost, that's why I devised a plan. It was already six thirty in the evening when we completed everything.

“Please take care.” Cynthia said, and waved his hand at us.

“Are you excited Sun?” Lena asked.

“Yes, it’s been a while since I was out. How about you?” Sun asked.

“I am really excited. This is my first time going to the city. Lucky that father agreed since it’s related to work.” Lena said.

Miko and I thought about it for a few days, that’s why we ended up having Lena go with us. The main reason is while we are out, Lena will be the one who will accompany him. I also let Lena go with me in some meetings so that she will not figure out the truth about Sun. At first, I was not sure, but Sun agreed to it. He said that he will be careful.

‘Bye everyone.” I said.

The engines of the car started and we are now bound back to the city. I hope that there will be no issues on our few days stay there. I don’t want something to happen with Sun. People were asking why we decided to leave at night when it was safer during the day. We lied that Sun is still working, and we need to wait for him.

It was two in the morning when the view of the city caught my attention. It’s been a while since I saw this as well. I was already used to the sight of stars in the night sky.

“Pretty isn’t it?” I asked.

“Yes, it is. Still, stars are better than this.” Sun answered.
