Chapter 96

“Crash!”

The sound of the collision was heard over the area as the three began to bump into my car. I was getting pissed because I couldn't move my car, and I was surrounded. These three were really having fun picking on me. 

“You three, if I ever get out of here…

“What are you going to do?” Miko said, laughing. I tried my best to stay calm but I was getting dizzy as they kept on bumping my car. The three kept on playing, but as soon as I heard their genuine laughter, I was feeling happy too. 

The annoyance that I felt earlier changed into happiness. I started to go with what they wanted to do, and I slowly realized that things were getting fun. Laughter filled the whole bump car arena as we continued playing like small kids. 

After tiredness hit our body, we decided to go back and take a rest. I looked at everyone, they were happy even after being exhausted. It even made me feel better. 

“I wish we could play again like this some other time.” Lena said. 

“Yes, you are right. It was really fun, and to think that in our age, we will be enjoying things like this.” Miko said. 

“Yes, you are right. Sure, we can do this next time too. I think we will have an employee interactive day so that everyone can enjoy and rest.” I suggested. 

“Wow, that’s a really good idea. Everyone at the farm will love this.” Lena said. On the other hand, Sun was just listening to us, and just nodding in agreement. I can feel that he was happy but I can tell that something was bothering him. There was a hint of sadness in his eyes. 

I was about to try to talk to him but one of the caretakers of the kids rushed towards us. She was catching her breath, meaning she had been running since earlier. 

“Sir, please help me.” The woman said. 

“Why, what happened?” I asked. 

“Sir, I apologize. One of the kids disappeared from our sight. We were doing a headcount that Marga, the one who gave you cookies earlier, disappeared. We tried checking on the nearby area that we were at earlier, but she was not there.” The woman explained, as she kept on bowing her head. 

“What?” All of us exclaimed. 

“Why did you not tell us sooner?” Miko asked. 

“We were thinking that we can find her soon enough, but things turned out not to be what we expected. Besides, we don’t want to cause trouble with you.” The woman answered. 

“You should still have given us a heads up. What if something happened to the kid?” I said, 

“We are really sorry, Sir.” 

I sighed and looked at everyone. They were so worried too. 

“Now, Lena. Go with the caretaker and go to the back office of the park. Ask permission and make an announcement about what happened. Then call me once you are done.” I ordered.

“Got it, Sir.” Lena said and they left immediately. 

“What are we going to do?” Sun asked. 

“We will go search around.” I said.

“Roger.”
