Chapter 80

After an hour, I met Lena and Miko who were waiting at the Lobby. I also checked my schedule and I still have three hours left before my first appointment. 

“Where are we going?” Lena asked. 

“We are going to eat outside. Is there any place that you want to visit?” I asked. 

“Actually there is one but I want big brother Sun to go with us, is that okay?”

“Sure, we can do that. Let’s set it up once he is available. So, what are we waiting for? Let’s go now.” I said and we headed out to the car waiting outside. I was supposed to drive but Miko insisted on getting our driver so that I won’t exhaust myself before my appointment starts. 

The three of us headed to the mall that I manage too. It was not as big as my father's own mall, but there was a reason why I bought this from one of our business partners. At first, I was hesitant to buy this whole place but I got worried with the employees. The previous owner pleaded and he told me that I will perfectly manage the mall. I realized that this will be a good investment, and I was right. After gaining the ownership after two years, everything went well. 

“Lena, here is a random fact that you need to know.” Miko said, smiling. 

“Miko, don’t tease Lena.” I said as we walked towards the restaurant that I personally like. On our way, the staff greeted us and said hi to them as well. 

“What is it, Sir Miko?” Lena asked, curious. 

“Do you know that Ray owns this mall too?” Miko said, smiling widely. 

Lena’s jaws dropped after hearing what Miko said. She just stayed like that for a couple of  minutes before she reacted again. The time that everything sank into her was when we arrived at the restaurant. 

“First, the farm and the hotel, now the mall? Just how rich are you Sir Ray?” Lena asked. 

I smiled at her and looked at Miko who was holding his laughter. 

“Well, aside from this, Ray owns a lot of business aside from this one. He really worked hard to achieve everything that he has right now.” Miko said. 

“Now, that’s something that I really want to achieve too. My only dream is to give my family a better life.” Lena said. 

“You can do that, but you need patience and perseverance. Ray did not just achieve this in a blink of an eye. I believe you know where Ray’s family came from?” Miko said. 

“I did some research, and he was from one of the richest families here in the country, right? To be honest, when you first arrived at the farm, everyone was worried about Sir Ray managing the farm since he was still young. You have proved them wrong, and everyone likes you. I can see it with your staff at the hotel too, and the people here at the mall.” Lena said. 

We sat down at the restaurant and ordered food first. I told Lena that she could pick anything that she likes. She turned down my offer because it was too expensive for her, but I told her that it’s fine since I will be the one paying. Lena agreed in the end. 

“What do you think big brother Sun is doing now? Too bad he can’t go with us.” Lena said. 

“Probably he is busy doing his work now, even us can’t disturb him when he is doing his job.” I said. 

“I see, let’s invite him some other time. I have a question, Sir Ray.” Lena said. 

“What is it?” Miko and I looked at her. 

“Do you like big brother Sun?” Lena asked. 

I almost choked on the food that I was eating. On the other hand, Miko was trying to hold his laughter. The way that Lena asked was so serious that I tried to hold my emotions too. Why did she suddenly ask that? Now that I think of it, do I like Sun?

“I like him, since he was really good to me. I feel better when he is around.” I blurted out. My eyes went wide when I realized what I said. 

Lena and Miko were also surprised by what I said. They were looking at each other and smiling brightly.

“I mean…

“No, we understand, Sir Ray. I think big brother Sun likes you too.” Lena said and Miko was nodding his head.  

“Why? What do you mean?” I asked. 

“The way that big brother Sun looks at you as if you were a really precious gem that he didn’t want to get out of his sight. He also told me the other time that when he is around you, he is really happy. I know I am being talkative now, but I wanted to tell you this. The way that you glance at each other, and the connection, it was so strong.” Lena said. 

Everything flashed back into my head, from the very first time I saw him, when he slept on my bed, and the time at the small hut. I was really used to him being around, and I did not realize that I was getting attached to him. My heart races every time I am around him. DOes Sun feel the same way too? Can we be together? Given his situation, can we do it? 

I looked at the two, before I answered. “I’ll be honest, I like him but it will be impossible. We are from two different worlds, and that thing might hinder us. I am fine taking care of him like this.” I said. 

“But I think you will both be happy if you tell him?” Lena said. 

“I understand, but I think this is the right time to do that. If we will be together in the end, things will fall into place. We don’t have to rush everything.” I said. 

“Ray is right, Lena. There are a lot of circumstances that we need to consider. You will know it soon, but for now, let them enjoy what they have. It will be better that way.” Miko said, looking at me. 

“Sorry for being intrusive.” Lena said, 

“No, it’s okay. I think it's time to go now. But before we go back to the hotel, you should get some new clothes first.” I said, smiling. 

“First, the restaurant? Now, new clothes? I think it’s too much, Sir Ray.” Lena said. 

“No, it’s okay. I will also buy some stuff for the other people at the farm.” I said.
