While we were busy looking for stuff for the people at the farm, I cannot let go of what Lena told me. Should I tell Sun? I know there will be really a lot of consequences because of our situation. There were really a lot of things to consider, and I don’t want to act without thinking. Honestly, I want to confirm my feelings for him too.
“Are you still thinking about what Lena told you earlier?” Miko asked. There is really nothing that I can hide from him.
“Honestly, yes. I don’t know what to say now. I am weighing things, like what you told me when we were younger.” I said.
“Yes, and I know that you know what to do, but this time it’s different. Sun is not part of our world.” Miko said, while checking on utensils for the kitchen.
“I know, but I’ll be really honest. I am really attached to Sun now.” I sighed.
“I understand, don’t worry. I know we can figure things out, and you need to fulfill your promise to him.” Miko said.
It was almost time for my appointment so I went out first and told them to continue what they were doing. I wanted to stay with them, but I have a lot of work to do. The day had passed and everything went well with my schedule. I was trying to get more clients to where I can export the goods from the farm. Though Wish and Fly is not big, because everyone loves their work there, the quality of everything they produce is good.
Going back to the hotel, I found Lena and Miko waiting for me in the lobby. The staff greeted me as I passed and said hello to them.
“How was the meeting?” Miko asked, chomping down on a sandwich. He handed me another piece and took a bite.
“Everything went well, thanks for everyone’s help. The proposal I made for the farm was accepted by Mr. Diaz and he are excited to begin working with the farm.” I said.
“Really, that’s good. You heard that Lena, the farm will be having another contract as a distributor. This will probably help everyone at the farm.” Miko said.
“Yes, thank you so much for your efforts, Sir Ray. Everyone will be happy hearing that. Now that I noticed, how do you manage such businesses? The fact that there is a lot of things to manage, I am just amazed.” Lena said, her eyes twinkling.
“I hate to admit it, but since he is from a family that has a lot of business, it runs in his blood.” Miko said, looking at me. I just smiled.
“I see. I will work hard too to become successful.” Lena said.
“As you should. You need to keep your promise especially for your father.” I said, and began walking back to our rooms.
“By the way, I am meaning to ask this, where is your mother Sir Ray?” Lena asked out of the blue.
Miko and I looked at each other, shocked by her question. Well, it can’t be helped.
“My mom passed away when I was young.” I said. Lena suddenly froze on her tracks after hearing what I told her.
“I’m sorry about that. Me being inquisitive of all things, became insensitive..” Lena sighed.
“No,it’s okay. I was just surprised that you asked for that.” I said, and smiled.
“Don’t worry, Lena. I felt bad too when I asked him for the first time when we were young.” Miko said.
“Okay, don’t feel bad Lena. Now, take some rest first, okay? We will eat later together with Sun.” I said. I headed back to my room and was expecting Sun to be in there, but he is not around yet? I checked my watch and it was just six in the evening. Where did he go?
“Sun?” I called, but no one responded. Maybe he is not really here yet so I decided to take a bath first. After a couple of minutes, I finished and hurriedly went out, but there are still no signs of him. Where did he go? He is supposed to appear now.
I opened the television and the news was currently on. While changing, something caught my attention. There was a report that a meteor shower will appear in the next two days. I suddenly got an idea, and I felt excited.
I was busy paying attention to the television when suddenly my eyesight became dark. Someone was covering my face. I tried to remain calm with what was happening. I suddenly felt the chill running through my spine. The cold aura coming from the hands, in an instant, I knew who it was.
Slowly shifting my body, I held his hand and faced him. We were both shocked and I did not notice that I placed my foot wrong. There was a loud thud heard in the room. Sun and I fell on the floor, me on top of him. I slowly lifted my body and saw that Sun was smiling as if nothing happened.
“Are you okay?” I asked, touching his face. Sun’s eyes widened when I did that, and realized that my body moved on its own. My heart was about to explode because of the embarrassment. I hurriedly stood up and held out my hand to help Sun to stand up. He reached out for my hand and for some unknown reason, we burst out laughing.
“Yes, I’m okay. I’m sorry about that, Ray. I was just trying to surprise you.” Sun said.
“Well, you got me.” I said, smiling at him widely. All the fatigue that I felt today was relieved just by seeing him beside me.
“So how was your day today? Where is Lena and Miko?” Sun asked and sat down on the bed.
Picking up the towel, I answered him. “Everything went fine, especially with the proposals. I was planning to get more clients for the farm, and it went well. The two are resting in their rooms. I don’t want to bother them now so that they can rest. I will call them later for dinner.”
“That’s good to hear. How about you? Why don’t you rest first?” Sun said.
“I will, later.” I said, sitting down in front of my laptop. I felt that Sun was just staring at me, as if he didn't want to disturb what I was doing. Someone knocked on my door, and Sun opened it. It was Miko and Lena.
“What are you two doing here? I told you to rest first.” I said.
“Well, we just missed Sun so we wanted to talk with him.” Miko said, and Lena was nodding her head. I can feel that Sun’s mood even brightened up after hearing that. When Sun is really happy, the atmosphere in the room changes.
“I missed you too guys. Sorry, I was busy with work.” Sun said at the two. Just when did Sun learn how to do that? I don’t know why but jealousy was creeping up on me with no valid reasons at all. I told them that they can continue talking in the lobby while waiting for me. The three agreed and left the room instantly without looking at me.
“Well, there they go now.” I sighed. I continued doing my work when my phone rang.
“Hello?” I asked.
“Hello, Ray? How are you?” Rosalia asked on the other line. It was my sister.
Why is she frequently calling me and asking me how I was? Is there something wrong?
