Chapter 82

“Hello?” I asked. 

“Hello, Ray? How are you?” Rosalia asked on the other line. It was my sister.

Why is she frequently calling me and asking me how I was? Is there something wrong?

“I’m good. How about you? Is there something wrong?” I asked. There was a brief silence before she answered. 

“I’m doing good, dear brother. Don’t worry about me.” She said, but I can feel a hint of sadness from her voice. I can feel that there was really something bothering her. 

‘Are you sure? Can you tell me if you want?” I asked her again. 

“Don’t worry, I am okay. I just want to consult you on something?” She said,

“About what?” 

“You know, I have a client who wants to start a pastry business, and I remembered that you have a farm. I mentioned you to be one of the suppliers, so what do you think?” Rosalia said. 

An offer coming from my sister, and now she is referring me to her clients? Something is really not right about this. I don’t know if I can trust my sister after all those years, but something tells me that I should be fine agreeing with her offer. 

“Oh, sure. Let’s talk about it more when we meet the next day.” I said. 

“Thanks, I'll give your contact details to them, if that’s okay.” 

“Sure, go ahead. Also, I’ll be honest Rosalia, I feel weird right now but thank you so much for your offer.” I said. 

“I know. No worries, anyway I have to go now. Take care.” She said and hung up the phone. 

I can properly breathe now. Our conversation was not that long but it felt like it was an hour. Picking up my wallet on the bed, I headed out to the people who was waiting for me in the lobby. 

Sun waved his hand as soon as he saw me going out of the elevator. I smiled at them, and also to the staff that said hi to me. 

“What took you so long?” Miko asked.

“Well, you won’t believe it. Rosalia called me telling me if I want to be a supplier to one of his clients?” I said. 

“What? Did your sister just do that?” Miko exclaimed. Sun and Lena were surprised by the sudden reaction of Miko. I smacked his head, making the two laugh at him. 

“Ouch!”

“There you are, overreacting again.” I said. 

“Well, you can’t blame me after hearing what you just said. Are you sure that you haven’t misheard anything.” Miko asked. 

“No, I did not. Well, let’s talk about the dining hall. We are getting so much attention here because of your over the top reactions.” I said, making the two laugh again. In no time, we arrived at the dining hall. It was filled with people since it’s also time for dinner. 

I picked my usual spot, at the left wing of the hall. The three followed me while Lena and Sun kept on admiring the place.

“I really can’t help not being amazed at your hotel Sir Ray. It’s just too good to be true. I hope I can take my family here, and my big sister Maria will really love this place.” She said,

“Don’t worry. I will take them here, actually I am planning to do so, but after the harvest.” I said. 

“Really?” 

“Of course. I wanted to treat them so that they can enjoy themselves as well.” I said, smiling at her. Miko and Lena headed first to the table while Sun and I were left, talking with the guest. 

“You are really kind, Ray.” Sun said. Hearing compliments from him makes my heart beat faster. 

“Not really, Sun. I wanted to reward them for their hard work, and they earned it themselves.” I answered, shifting my body away from the crowd. He followed me as we continued walking towards Miko and Lena. 

“What took the both of you so long?” Miko said, while chomping down on the food. I am still amazed how this man with such a nice figure can be a glutton. 

“There were a lot of guests who said hi to me, that’s why. They were also fascinated with Sun’s appearance, and a lady even asked him what was his secret about his complexion.” I said, smiling.

Miko and Lena looked at Sun too. 

“Yes, you are right. I sort of envy big brother Sun, because some girls like me wants to have that complexion.” Lena said. 

“You don’t have to be jealous, Lena. You are beautiful in your own way, and each of us has different characteristics.” Sun said and sat down on the chair. 

“You are really sweet, big brother Sun. Whoever your partner in the future sure will be so lucky.” Lena said. I almost choked on the water and I heard Miko holding his laughter. On the other hand, Sun was so innocent that he was just looking at Lena, smiling. 

“I hope so.” Sun said. 

“Do you have someone you like big brother Sun? Who was your first love?” Lena asked. Oh no, there she goes again bombarding with questions. 

“Eh… I was about to put in to stop Lena, but Sun looked at me, telling me that it was okay. 

“Actually, I am not sure if I love the person. I am still figuring it out. As for my first love, I cannot answer that. I guess the two of them did not tell you about my condition.” Sun said. 

“Wait, Sun.” Miko said.

I was looking at him, and he was serious. I guess it’s time for Lena to learn about the truth, but it will be harder than us to hide it from the others. We need to limit the people that Sun is not with this world anymore. Miko looked at me, and I nodded my head in response, signaling him that it was okay. Lena began to look confused. 

“What do you mean, big brother Sun?” Lena said. 

“I am already… I mean, I have amnesia.” Sun said, making our jaws drop. I almost died because I was thinking that she will tell Lena that he is already dead. 

“Oh my god, is it true?” Lena asked, looking at us. 

Dumbfounded, Miko and I nodded our heads in response. Lena looked sad after seeing our reactions. 

“I’m so sorry, big brother Sun. I am being inquisitive again. I am really sorry.” Lena said.  

“That’s okay. We did not plan to keep it a secret from everyone, but it’s for the better.” Sun said. I suddenly remembered the time when we were at the small location at the mountainside. He was like this, being more mature again. 

“I’m so sorry to everyone. Promise, I will not tell anyone.” Lena said, bowing his head. 

Sun smiled and let out a small laughter, surprising as even more. Hearing him laugh was like music to my ears. There goes my heart again, beating faster. Am I really in love with him?
