Chapter 39

“Ray, wake up!” I hear someone calling me. Just hearing that voice made my body move instantly. I slowly opened my eyes and saw him standing in front of me, waving his hands to check if I was awake already.  “Sun?” “Yes, how are you? I heard from your staff earlier that you were not feeling well. They left some food on your table.” Sun said, worried.  I looked at the clock and saw that it was already past dinner time. Miko must have told our helpers to bring me food here.  “I’m fine, Sun. I was just tired, that’s why I suddenly felt weird. Also, I am still adjusting here on the farm.” I answered.  Sun smiled and walked towards the bed. He sat down there, looking at me. I stood up and went to the restroom to change some clean clothes. After that, I pulled the curtains from the window and closed it a bit. It’s a bit chilly, especially early in the morning.  “There, I’m done. Thanks for waiting.” I said.  “Oopss, you’re not done yet. Go eat some food first, then take some medicine first.” “Okay, you sounded a bit like Miko, haha.” I laughed.  “Well, of course your health should be okay first. Do you want to be a ghost like me too?”  Sadness suddenly filled my heart but I tried to hide it from Sun and mumbled, “How I wish.”  “What’s that?” He asked. “Oh, nothing.” I answered.  Picking up the cup of ginger tea, I stared at the man sitting on my bed. He was busy looking outside the window, where the wind was gently blowing. The weather was fine, and looking at it, the stars were visible. How can Sun enjoy just doing simple things like this? Again, this is the time that I can see his figure really well. It feels ethereal watching him, and his aura is indeed calming. I’m really getting used to this set up, and him being around. Will it be better if he is still alive? A lot of things ran through my mind again, and forgot that I was still eating. I accidentally tripped the glass of water, starting Sun as soon as it hit the floor.  “Hey, are you still not feeling well?” He asked and rushed towards me.  “Nahh, I’m fine. I just spaced out a bit.”  “Okay, just don’t move there. I guess you need to call your friend to help you.” He said.  I stood up, not listening to what he told me. I moved towards the door and picked up a dustpan and broom. “I don’t have my phone and I don’t want to bother my the people around here. They should be resting.”  “But.. “No buts, and I am okay. I just really spaced out earlier. Wait for me there, I’ll finish soon.” I said.  Sun did not say anything and sat down on the bed. After a minute, someone was knocking on the door. It was Miko.  “Ray, we have an emergency!” Miko said, catching his breath.
