Chapter 56

483 Words
Despite being playful, Miko was really a bookworm. During our younger years, you would find him staying in the library most of the time. “Let me try to remember it.” Miko said. “Are you sure that you have read a story like that?” I asked. “Just continue eating Ray, and take the antibiotics while I try to recall the title of the story. I am pretty sure that I read it somewhere.” “Okay, fine. Just do what you want, but it’s pretty weird that there is some sort of story like that.” I said. “Shhhh.” I just shook my head because Miko was so serious about this matter. I tried to hide my laughter, not wanting to break the focus of my friend. I haven’t seen him like this for a long period of time. Well, I am really curious as well about the story he mentioned. Can it help us solve the mystery behind Sun? I took the chance to check on updates from my phone. I have a lot of reminders set up from this week, especially the meeting with one of our clients. There was also an increase in sales for the shops that I own, which I was glad about. There were also missed calls that I don’t know which came from, so I will ask Lena later to send emails to our clients about the mishap I had here in the farm. I looked at Miko, and his eyebrows were meeting each other trying to remember. “So do you remember it?” I asked. “Yes, the content of the story but the title, I can’t really remember it.” Miko said. “Oh, that’s fine. I guess what we need to know now is how the story goes.” I said, “Yeah, you’re right Ray. I’ll ask one of my assistants to look for it at the public library so that once we head back to the city, you can check it as well. As for the story, it was a story of a young boy who was left alone in the middle of the forest. With no one with him, he almost suffered a terrible death, but another young kid showed up. The boy asked the other kid if he was lost too, but the boy said that he was just going somewhere. The two kept on talking until it was morning, but the boy suddenly disappeared.” Miko said, “And what’s the connection with Sun?” “While weaving his way out of the forest, the other kid will appear at night, and then disappear during the morning. Isn’t Sun like that?” Miko was right. There was some sort of similarities with what was happening with Sun. “Okay, I guess we need to have that book soon.” I said.
