Chapter 34

“Well, the shaman might be referring to a different thing.” I said.  Miko patted my back and then stopped all of a sudden. I was confused by his reaction, and it felt like he saw something.  “Oh my goodness.” He exclaimed.  “Why? What happened?”  Instead of answering, he touched my shoulders and using his other hand, he pointed at the direction where Sun was sitting.  “I-is that Sun?” He asked.  Sun and I looked at each other confused. I thought Miko cannot see Sun?  Sun suddenly stood up on the bed and went close to us. “You can see me too?” Miko just nodded his head, and his jaws dropped because of what was happening now. Even me cannot believe that he can see Sun. How was that possible? He removed his hands from my shoulders and stood up.  “Eh? What’s this?” He said.  “Why?”  “I can’t see Sun again. What’s happening?” He asked.  All of us in the room were already confused about what was happening. Earlier, he was able to see Sun, but now he can’t again. Things are getting a bit messy already. We stayed there in silence, thinking of what exactly happened. “Can you try again?” I asked Miko.  “No, I cannot see him.” He answered.  I looked at both of them and was bothered by what happened. How did my friend manage to see a ghost. Everything is getting weirder.  “Let’s try this one. Miko, can you sit down again and Sun, please get closer to him.” I suggested.  The two moved and did what I told them to do. My curiosity is getting on its peak again. I want to find out what exactly happened earlier. We tried a lot of things but nothing worked. It was getting late already and we were getting tired of what we were doing.  “Do you think we can ask someone who is familiar with this kind of stuff?” Miko said.  “Yes, that’s right.” I agreed. Sun also nodded in approval. I am pretty sure that he got excited earlier when Miko saw him. He must have been really lonely when no one could see him. I hope we can figure things out sooner.  “How about the shaman that went here the other day?” Miko suggested.  Again, the words that came from the shaman’s mouth resonated in my head. I was a bit hesitant because it felt like he didn’t like the idea of me being tied to something, as he warned me.  “I’m not sure, but let’s try to look for other options too.” I said.  “That’s fine. Sure, I’ll have someone look for this kind of thing. Today was a roller coaster ride. I’ll go now. See you both tomorrow.” Miko said and waved goodbye to us.  We were left in the room and silence filled in. Both Sun and I were busy thinking about what happened earlier.  “Sun, what are you feeling right now?” I asked.
