Chapter 141

A lot of thoughts were running at that time in my head. The fact that my sister is already apologizing for the things that happened from the past, I know something was really off. Not with my sister, but with our household. 

“Give me some time to think, Rosalia. You know what happened in the past right? Do you still think that I can trust people easily when I was betrayed a lot of times already?” I had a lot of things in my mind now, and my sister came at the right time. What should I do?

“I understand, Ray. Again, I am really sorry, but please accept me as your sister again. Don’t worry, I will be by your side, whenever you need me.” Rosalia said. 

“Okay, but please, forgiving is an easy thing to do, but forgetting what happened in the past, everything was really bad. It was really painful for me.” I said, trying to hold back my emotions. 

“Uhm, Ray, do you want to visit our Mom’s grave?” Rosalia said, out of the blue. 

I don’t know what’s her reason but I agreed. It has already been a long time since I visited my mother’s grave and thankfully, she suggested that. 

“I will just get changed, Rosalia.” I said, heading to my closet. 

“Sure, take your time.” She said and stood up. She began fixing the sheets on my bed, which really surprised me the most. 

Before heading to the bathroom, I called Miko to ask how Sun is doing. “Are you still in the food hall?” 

“Yes, we are still here, and Lena is with us too. Is your sister still there?” Miko asked, and I looked in her direction. She was busy tidying up my room, and to be honest it really felt weird. 

“Yes, she is still here.” I answered, while rummaging on my closet for the clean socks. 

“Really? Did she threaten you? What does she want from you this time?” 

“No, it’s the opposite, Miko. She is apologising now on the things that she did in the past.” I said, heading to the bathroom. 

“Wait, what? Is it the end of the world already? I am pretty sure that she is scheming something, Ray. Be careful, or it might cause your downfall again. Miko warned.

“Don’t worry, my friend. I know my sister very well now, and I am being careful too. What’s surprising this time is that I can feel genuine feelings from my sister. I guess we don’t have to worry that much.” I said. 

“Okay, if you say so. Still, I cannot fully trust Rosalia with all the things that she has done in the past.” Miko said. 

“Maybe it’s time for Ray to forgive her sister too. I can feel that there are no ill intentions coming from here.” I heard someone saying from the background, and it was Sun. 

“Big brother Sun is right, but Sir Miko is also correct. Fighting, Sir Ray. You can get through everything.” Lena said, cheering me up. 

Happiness flooded my heart after hearing what they said. I feel glad that I have friends, which I already consider as my family as well. I am really thankful for everything because of them. I hung up and took a quick bath before changing into comfortable clothes. The weather was a bit cold already because it was almost christmas season. 

After a few minutes, I went out of the bathroom and my sister was reheating the pot of tea and placed it on the table. 

“Sorry, if I took some time to change.” I said, heading towards her. 

My sister handed me the warm cup of tea, “It’s okay, Ray. We are in no rush here.”

Taking the cup, I sipped a bit of the contents and sat down on the bed to put my socks on. I can feel that Rosalia was observing every movement that I am doing. It made me feel uncomfortable because of the overflowing attention she is giving me now. 

Did she really change?
