Ang daming nangyari kahapon. Today is our second day for the entrance exam at nandito ako sa dining hall- Oo, nandito pa rin kami sa palasyo kasi hindi kami pinauwi ni Kali. The King wanted to see me also and I don’t know why. It’s early in the morning at nandito kaming apat, hinihintay na dumating ang Reyna at Hari.

Kahapon, pinatawag kami ng Principal - who is now fully healed by his partner, to see us all since we got the highest and the best performance in our batch. He never really talked about the fight we had but he keeps on isnsisting na bagay talaga kaming ipadala sa Mahika Tournmament. We mentioned to him that we are one of Gin’s choices already so he nodded with satisfaction but he gave us a tip- contestants are tested too like exams so we have to aim higher because a lot of tudents na mataas pa ng batch sa amin wants to join the said tournmanent. Sinabi niya na hindi dapat namin iunderestimate ang iba dahil lang kami ang nasabing pinakamalakas sa aming batch.

Nalaman ko rin na every batch has a group like us. Our batch has us, they call us Indestructible Square. The batch above us has 1 royalty from south with a partner and 1 royalty from the west with a partner- kagaya namin and they all have high magic molecules but mine and Kailani are higher. The students call them Dominant Swest. I get it kung bakit Swest, maybe a combination of South and West but for the Dominant, they dominate students by force kaya maraming natatakot sa kanila and most probably, kami ang susunod nilang target- not to mention that they from the west and south of Agartha, Kali told me they are the mainland mortal enemies and attempted to get this throne from them but they failed back then.

The Principal is not that scary actually kung kausap mo lang. Akala ko hindi rin matino kausap ito pero buti nalang matino siya. He warned us about them four kasi mismo siya, hindi niya talaga kayang kontrolin ng maigi silang apat because he served the whole Agartha. The Dominant Swest likes to do things with dirt kaya dapat maingat kami. May isang studyante rin silang nasiraan talaga ng buhay kasi trip lang nila. I know bullies are everywhere pero sobra ito. He wanted to warn us because we actually got into fight with Wylie, one of the Dominant Swest’s brother. Kahit pa naman alam namin, hindi pa rin kami aatras. There is no way we’ll turn away from what is right.

As for today’s exam, kami ay ginawan na kahapon so we’re actually exempted this morning kasi the King wanted to talk us. Isa rin ito sa rason kaya hindi kami pinauwi ni Kali kasi baka daw hindi kami sisibot. Hindi naman kami ganong klaseng tao pero baka ewan. We are hated in the castle and who knows baka biglang bumalik ang utak ni Kali. Sa Spirit Compatibility Test naman, good thing compatible talaga kami. No questions, muntikan pa ngang one hundred percent eh, may aangal pa ba?

The door opened at tumayo bila sina Kali at Nieve. Tatayo sana ko kaso biglang hinila ni Kailani ang aking kamay para hindi ako makatayo. I glanced at him and he was just watching the King and Queen going inside.

“Do you want to respect them?” he suddenly asked with a coldvoice at napilitan akong umiling.

“What? No.” sagot ko naman kaagad and he gave me smirk,

“Good,” he said at binitawan niya ako. Sanay na ako sa personality switch ni Kailani pero minsan hindi ko lubos naisip na kasama ko pa ito at higit sa lahat, ninety-eight percent pa talaga ang compatibility namin.

The King and Queen stood in fron of us kung saan sila uupo and they stared at us.

“Is this how a Prince should act, Kailani?” the King asked and he smirked.

“Yes,” he answered. “A disowned prince acts this way, Your Highness,” he added with a shaky voice. I can’t imagine being him facing the father who abandoned him right now. The way his shaking voice gave me chills because it gives off an anger vibe.

“See?! That son of yours has no respect at all!!” reklamo naman ng Queen.

“How about we get into business, Father?” singit ni Kali and the Queen’s eyes widened.

“I was talking Kali. Hindi dapat ganyan ang asta sa future King! Tinuruan kita ng maayos!” she shouted.

“Time is gold mom. Nagmamadali kami.” Kali replied calmly at nauna siyang umupo kaya umupo kaagad si Nieve.

“I didn’t remember saying that you can sit down,” the King said coldly.

“I didn’t remember saying that I’ll be the King.” he replied at naunang kumain which is rude to them. Bigla namang sumunod si Nieve na ikinagulat ko. “I can understand that you can be rude to me but your partner just crossed the line,” the King added.

“I’m afraid that I swore my loyalty to Prince Kali, Your Highness,” he said and he looked straight into the King’s eyes- something that I can never do, and he smiled. “Not to this land,” he added at kinain ang isang piraso ng vegetable. That was bad ass!

They had no choice kaya umupo na lang sila. Hindi ako kakain hanggang hindi kakain si Kailani so I sat there quietly kahit gutom na ako.

“I saw your performance yesterday,” the King said and he suddenly looked at me. “But you shined the most. Who taught you how to fight?” he asked. He must’ve remembered my father because it was him making my body move. The last bit of him.

“No one, I grew up with my mom in the Gambier Island. I’m afraid there is no one there who could teach me,” I said at kumunot ang noo niya.

“Are you telling me that you almost defeated an SS Class Spirit Caster without being trained?” he asked. Should I nod?

“Now you see why I chose him,” singit ni Kailani and this time kumain na siya kaya sumunod ako.

“I didn’t know you’ve become that strong, Kailani.” the King said at napatingin siya nina Kali. “Same goes for the both of you.” he added and the Queen rolled her eyes.

“What do you actually need, Dad?” Kali asked at huminga ng malalim ang Hari.

“A secret mission,” he replied at napatigil kaming lahat.

The King also warned us about the Dominant Swest. One of them actually had the experience of being a contestant in Mahika Tournament and he killed a lot. Not inside the arena but outside the arena. Our school won last time because of it but during the All Stars Tournament where the winners from all over the world will collide, they did not stood any chance. For 20 years, our land has been the weakest of all.

The King warned us that they might do dirty things to us para hindi kami masali sa choices because they were all planning na silang apat na talaga ang sasali. He also told us to watch them because they might get the throne once again. Getting the throne is their goal. Masyado na dawng matagal naging Hari ang partner ng previous Spirit Martial kaya dapat ng palitan. The people doesn’t like the idea so they attempted poison but it didn’t work.

“So basically, our mission here is to keep our eyes on them?” Kali asked and the King nodded. “And also, I want you to become the official contestants for our school,” he added at napatigil kaming lahat.

“What if hindi talaga namin kaya?” Kailani asked.

“Bakit? Hindi ba?” he asked at napakunot ang noo naming lahat. Is he underestimating us or is he testing us?

“Well then. Got that.” sagot ni Kailani and the King nodded with a smile and ate a piece of egg.

“Then that’s it.” he said at nagpatuloy kami sa pagkain lahat.

Nothing really happened more after that talk. We just prepared ourselves para mamaya. The newly enrolled students will have mock games kaya this time, uniform na ang susuotin namin. It’s still early kaya tumambay muna kami sa hardin.

“Pwede na ba kaming umuwi ngayon, after the mock games?” tanong ni Kailani.

“Yeah,” sagot naman ni Kali.

“Um,” singit ko at napatingin silang tatlo sa akin. “Two people have warned us already. Are they that dangerous?” I asked at tumango kaagad si Kali.

“They killed and r***d many of their maids. One of them actually escaped and worked here already.” Kali replied at napanganga ako sa gulat.

“That’s too much,” I replied and he nodded.

“I don’t want to just keep an eye on them actually. I want to teach them a lesson so bad.” he said at napansin kong galit na galit talaga siya. “I will never forgive them,” he added and walked away. “I’ll be back for a while,” bigla niyang paalam at napatingin kami ni Kailani kay Nieve.

“What was that all about?” I asked and he looked away.

“When they visited here for the first time, I actually gave gratitude to Wylie’s Older brother. He tied me up in the bed and …” hindi niya natuloy na sabi.

“Oh please don’t tell me a man just r***d you?!” I exclaimed at napapikit siya.

It’s true?!! 

Napatingin ako kay Kailani at kumunot ang noo niya.

“Does he have a thing for partners of royalties?” Kailani asked and NIeve nodded.

“We, partners of royalties, are servants to him. Even his partner is enduring all the nasty things he wants to do. He’s obsessed in s*x and r**e. No matter what the gender is.” Nieve added at umiling ako.

“This is more than that I could expect. May sira yata yan sa ulo,” reklamo ko.

“Kaya Prince Cygnus,” Nieve said with worried look on me. “Please be careful. When you were fighting, I saw him watching with Prince Gin and Prince Tempest. He kept on staring at you but when the fight was over and you never came back, he went away.” he added.

What? I can’t imagine being banged by some guy!! HELL NO!

“I’ll watch him,” Kailani said. “He’s not touching what’s mine.” he added.
