Maaga kaming umalis ni Annie ng bahay at gaya nga nang sinabi nito, sinamahan niya nga akong magtungo sa S&R Hotel and Restaurant.
"Hi! I'm, Carla Medina!" bati ko sa receptionist na siyang sumalubong sa amin ni Annie. "I'm looking for Mr. Steven Reyes."
Tiningnan naman ako ng receptionist mula ulo hanggang paa saka gumanti ng ngiti sa akin.
"I'm sorry Ma'am, you don't have any scheduled appointment and we are not allowed to accept any visitors for our Boss," hinging paumanhin sa akin ng receptionist.
"I, understand!" malungkot kong tugon.
"Pero friend siya ng Boss mo, Miss. Siya pa nga ang nagpapunta rito kay Carla para magkausap silang dalawa," sabat naman ni Annie.
