I stand up and take a deep breath. Then, I smiled despite the emotions beneath the surface. Nilapitan ko ang emcee at inabot ang mikroponong binigay niya.
Bago magsalita ay pinagmasdan ko muna ang lahat ng dumalo. Sa tatlong taon na lumipas, kasama ko pa rin sila. Ang mga taong naging inspirasyon at lakas ko hanggang sa umabot ako sa aking ika limang sangay ng aking restaurant, and for that I am grateful.
