You'd think being an assassin would be full of wild things happening, especially if you started out human, but were modified genetically by the government to help keep Others in check, you know, weres, vampires, demons, all that fun stuff that goes bump in the night, and you'd be right to a degree, if only my handler hadn't stuck me with the handle of Sunshine. Let me introduce myself, my name is Katrina, and I'm an assassin. I get to handle your run of the mill cases dealing with corrupted billionaires, as well as handling various cases with Others that go wild, or at least wilder than normal. I thought that cases would be the only things I'd be handling, little did I know that there would be people trying to handle me as well. If you've come this far, you may as well see what Karma has in store for me aside from what I've already said, and if you don't read further, no skin off my nose.

This is a story of loving someone and loosing someone, only to find them again and again without knowing what fate has in store for them. It all started when Jake walked into the coffee shop where Kathrine worked. Kathrine was shy with self-esteem issues due to the mental abuse of her brother, but did the best she could with her life and just didn't see herself as special, just normal. Jake always seemed to have a quick smile and was always picking on Kathrine, trying to pull her out of her shell. When Kathrine finds out some news though, what will happen to the two?

Nicole has given up on her childhood dreams of love, instead focusing on raising her three kids with the help of her mother and spending time with friends doing things she loves. She's a pretty standard woman who loves the simple things in life, Nicole works a job she loves, plays video games with her kids, and crafting. Due to being let down so many times in the past, Nicole has closed herself off to the idea of ever finding real love, and only opens up to her closest friends and family. Little does she know that one night out with her friends will set things in motion to change her whole life, if she can take the leap...
