Kiro is an alpha. Or at least he was until his entire pack was murdered by a nearby pack, resulting in him becoming rogue. Out of pity or some form of cruelty, the very same pack that killed his took him in as omega, and before long, sold him to the alpha of a pack Kiro absolutely despises. The Blood Fire pack. Now a permanent slave to Blood Fire, Kiro has to fight for his right to become anything of worth. But as he grows closer to meeting the alpha, his worst fears are realized. Kiro and the Alpha are mated. Kiro tried to run from his problems, but instead, that only brought him to more trouble. Kiro runs into someone who he hoped would be his salvation. A vampire. But this vampire and Kiro discover something they never thought they would. Kiro and this vampire are also mated. Two mates were impossible in this world, but with nowhere to go, Kiro is stuck running from his destinies, and he must try to find a way to cope with his feelings or continue to run from them.

On top of all that, Kiro discovers a horrifying truth. The pack he originally thought had died had all survived, and now he must try to find them, and save them from a horrible fate, but will they accept him back with the knowledge that he abandoned them.

Chapter 1
Our story begins in a town. Not just any town, however, it begins in a town quite unlike anything humans would expect. This town was lively in the dead of night, and this town was always bustling with newcomers. This town had a street, but not just any street. Imagine a street filled with ghostly whispers and nasty smells. Imagine this same street being paved from brick and covered in cracks and rocks. Imagine this same stinky, brick-paved street lined with buildings on either side, some very short in stature and others abnormally tall. Imagine this very same stinky, brick-paved, building lined street ending abruptly at a meadow. This meadow is where our story truly begins. You see, the stinky, brick-paved, building lined, abruptly stopping street actually lead to a place many called home, the city of Gwenkere. Humans couldn’t access this place without permission, for the fairies that lived here performed a ritual every full moon that prevented unwanted eyes from prying inside. Many rumors surrounded the meadow and the street which ended abruptly, keeping humans away from this area. If one were to venture too close, they’d be filled with a sense of dread so awful, they’d leave immediately. However, the Inhumans that called this area home found it to be quite lovely. To the mundane eyes, it’d be merely a meadow, but to the supernatural, it was a city. Shops lined the streets, houses were filled with families, children played games, and everyone lived in peace.     Gwenkere was no stranger to all forms of the supernatural, so its no surprise that many werewolf packs live in the heavily forested area surrounding the peaceful city. However, many who lived in Gwenkere avoided these areas at all costs. Why? Well, werewolves were rumored to be sloppy, angry, and always looking to start fights where they were not wanted. This created tension often with the other supernaturals, so many just agreed to keep away from the werewolves' territory. Though, there was one tribe that all could agree was the most peaceful tribe. The Starlight pack lived in a village deep within the forest, and every week they celebrated the stars in the sky, whom they thanked for their mates, their land, and even for their leader. But as with every good story, a tragedy must happen in order for it to begin. So let us investigate this village further, in order to fully understand the story.      The Starlight Village consisted of several houses, a school, an office building that doubled as a training building, and of course the alpha's house sat right in the center of it all. The alpha's house was large, with several bedrooms for guests, the alpha's main office room, and bedroom, and a room for the pack's Luna, the alpha's sister. Why was the Luna the alpha's sister? Well, Alpha Kiro had yet to find his mate, but he knew that his pack needed another leader to protect them, along with his beta and deltas. However, this pack was so peaceful they rarely watched their borders. Tonight, Kiro, the Starlight alpha, had gone on a run for some more food for the festival, and when he returned, he was not ready for the sight that greeted him.      Kiro stood in shock at the sight of burning buildings, dead wolves, and worst of all, the house his sister had been in before he left was blown to dust. Kiro dropped the sweets he had brought for the pups, and ran towards the housings, trying to find and save as many people as he could. Kiro's heart was broken over and over again to only be met with dead wolves and bodies, and no survivors. He felt his anger rise as his alpha markings slowly began to fade. All of his pack had to be dead in order for him to lose alpha status, or so he believed as he turned to greet the wolves that made their way out from the shadows of the trees.      "Why would you do this?!" Kiro demanded as he stared right into the eyes of the alpha wolf, who merely chuckled as he stepped towards Kiro.      "Your land is now ours. Don't forget this, Kiro," the alpha growled as Kiro began to growl in anger. The two held gazes for a long time, before Kiro's mind blanked out. When he finally came to, he found himself laying on the ground, surrounded by the bodies of the wolves. He was not ready to accept his fate as he stood up, stumbling towards the darkness and following the scent of the wounded wolves who had gotten away.      "I won't die without justice," he grumbled, his vision blurring. He was wounded, exhausted, and he was alone as he collapsed in the woods, smoking filling his lungs and the sounds of screams still ringing in his ears. Kiro reached his dark, bloodied hand out for the boots he saw approaching him before his vision darkened completely, and he laid still on the forest floor. And so our story begins.
