Finding Avie's body

Growing up, I only have myself. I have a dad who never seemed to be like a dad to me. My mom died right after giving birth to me and maybe that was the reason why my dad doesn’t really like me, or maybe he doesn’t love me because I was an unwanted child in the first place. I have tried to be at the top, I wanted to always be the special one, I always do my best in everything that I do because I wanted to earn my Dad’s affection, I wanted him to notice and just simply love me. But then I realize that no matter what I do, he will never take me for who I am, and that he will always loathe me for being born in this world. That’s why I told myself that in this world I only have myself. That I need to love myself because no one else will ever will. When I was I kid I used to be full of life, I use to have that glow and happiness that a kid naturally possess. But as I grow up, reality slowly creeps in and slapped me on the face telling me that I may have all the toys that I like, I may have all the beautiful shoes and dresses in the world but there will always be this one thing that I can never have and that is the love of my own father, Which is the only thing that I have ever wanted… One day I just stopped and told myself, you should know when to give up because sometimes there is no point in trying. I was a bit pre-ocupied when the photographer suddenly speaks. “Miss Avie can you do a fierce look for me, please?” he said. I tilted my head and made a fierce look for the photographer. I am currently shooting for the bench fashion week this upcoming September. I needed to finish this set quickly because I still have to attend a company meeting at the company. I posed some more and showed my interest to finish this shoot; luckily the photographer was already satisfied with the photos. “Thank you so much Miss Avie, it is indeed a pleasure to work with the most renowned model in the country!” Enzo exclaimed. “The pleasure is also mine, Enzo! I hope to work with you again!” I happily replied to him. Enzo is one of the most professional photographers that I have worked with. He always manage to get every shot perfect and the best thing is that he do have good eyes, he knows when to take the perfect shot so no time is wasted. Time is very important for me, being a popular model and a CEO of a clothing line, I have to manage my time well. After the shoot I went hurriedly inside the van and changed into a corporate attire. “Miss, you have thirty five minutes to have lunch, the meeting will start at 2 pm.” Vanie said while confirming my attendance to the meeting. “I know Vanie, I know that even if I am the most popular model in this country I don’t have the pleasure to eat in my own pace. Kamusta si Diego? Tumigil na ba?” Diego was my ex-boyfriend he is an actor and director in the show business here in the Philippines. Funny, the media tagged me as the Taylor Swift of the Philippines for my long list of ex-lover not knowing that I was just making things easier for my exes. Love for me is something that is so fictional. If you have everything you need in life you don’t need love. Love can destroy you. I once fell in love and it destroyed me into bits. “Ma’am nagse-send pa rin po sya ng flowers sa condo and messages and chats,” naiinis na wika ni Vanie. That guy is really persistent. Hindi niya ba maintindihan na ayaw ko na? “Okay then, message Kyle for me, tell him to meet me at the Grand Vista, siguro kailangan makita ni Diego na may bago akong dine-date bago sya tumigil.” I hissed annoyingly. Nakakainis lang din talaga na may mga taong hindi marunong makaintindi. “Ma’am, I have already messaged Sir Kyle, is there anything else you need or want?” Vanie asked while typing on her ipad. I think about what she said then I remember the meeting dad wants me to attend. He knows that I also have a company of my own and yet pinipilit nya pa din ako na kapag may mga important meetings sya kailangan ay nandoon din ako. Even though it feels like he will just call me when he needs me, it somehow gave the satisfaction that he the great Achilles Gomez needs his illegitimate child for something. “Please call, Nana Gina and ask her if she already had her lunch and tell her that I won’t be able to eat at the house for dinner because I have a meeting in GGOC tonight.” This afternoon I have a meeting at Vrielle to close the deal with the Ambrosio’s they are the top supplier of linen and silk in the country. I have to make sure that I’ll be able to secure a slot for their next release. “Right away Ma’am.” Vanie answered. After Vanie answered, I wear my sunglasses and closed my eyes. Meron pa akong 30 mins to sleep and 35 minutes to eat later. Ghad, I feel so exhausted past lunch pa lang pero feeling ko maghapon na akong nagtatranaho. We arrived at VCC right on time. I immediately told Vanie to get me some food because I’m already famished! Just after I finished eating I heard knocks on the door. Hay! I can never have peace wherever I am. “Come in,” I lazily answered. Vanie entered and there was a girl beside him. “Miss, I’d like to introduce to you Hazel, your new secretary. Ms. Agoncillo this is Miss Avrielle Akiesha Gomez, I assumed you know her already? She is the CEO of Vrielle Clothing Company and also the daughter of Senator Gomez.” I inwardly rolled my eyes with Vanie’s last introduction of me. I looked at the girl from head to toes, she seemed fine. Mukha nga lang mahiyain pero mukang mapapagkatiwalaan naman. My former secretary Xonia filed a maternity leave kaya I need to find someone na as efficient and competitive as her. “Magandang araw po Ma’am Avrielle. Ako po si Hazel former secretary po ako sa isang antique company. Mayroon na po akong 3 years experience as an executive secretary. Graduate po ako sa UP ng Bachelor of Science in Business Admi-” I raised my index finger to cut her off. This is me being the straightforward person that I am, I so hate sideways answers!
