His Shy Omega

The book flew across the room and hit her head with a painful plop before falling onto the floor with a loud thud.  Mother Nature had been helping her with her reflexes but they still weren't that great.  And it didn't help that it was 6-f*****g-o'clock in the morning.      "Ow....fuck.....Victoria why?"     ?????     Rosertina lifted her sleep logged head, which felt like it was stuffed with cotton, and opened her tired eyes to look towards the door.  Prone to sleeping on her stomach, it took her a few moments to maneuver her body to its side so she could take in her surroundings. Just as she registered it was open and empty, confused, she quickly looked around her darkened room to find no one was there. About to give up and go back to sleep, out of the corner of her eye a darkened figure blurred over and threw itself onto her side, the perpetrator's bony butt digging into her spleen.  If she hadn't been awake she was now.  Breath from her lungs left in a painful whoosh and she couldn't breath for a few seconds until she was able to roll. Except the desired affect of dislodging her attacker was made worse by rolling onto her back and them sitting on her stomach.       "MORNING SUNSHINE!!! WAKE UP!! WAKEUP!! WAKEUPWAKEUPWAKEUP!!!!!!!" Victoria screamed in her ear.      Rosertina wasn't very tiny but she certainly wasn't the biggest either.  Victoria, her best friend in the entire world, on the other hand, is what you would call an Amazonian built girl with muscles to spare and a tall frame to even out the proportions.  She had a very gorgeous tan skin with a greek goddess face, lush lips, long eyelashes, lean build. Basically every wereboy's dream.       She on the other hand was tiny, which wasn't too surprising since her mother was shorter, or well......she was short like her.  Rose inherited her mother's build but her father's facial features.  She had a heart shaped face with long hair with a shaved patch on the left lower side of her head. In all honesty she looked like a girl who would do anything to grab a boys attention.  Her hair was dyed blue on the ends with a piercing on the right side of her nose.  just a small diamond stud.  Her right arm was covered with a tattoo, only the tattoo wasn't man made, but no one needed to know that.  She had a big chest for someone her size. She wore a C sized bra which made the shirts that she was able to fit into stretch a little too much.  Being petite only helped when the whole body was petite too.  Her clothes were always just a hint too short but it never bothered anyone before, at least no one she cared about.      Right now her pajamas, a loose shirt and short shorts, were tight around her middle with her friend sitting on her.  Normally when she trained at the waterfall, the sessions weren't very long.  Maybe a couple of hours tops. Last night had been so long that Mother Nature didn't let her leave until 5 in the morning.       Being of werewolf origin was a blessing and a curse at times.      You had a different entity in your body that you were able to commune with, hightened senses such as hearing, smell, taste, sight, but with all of those wonderful senses it also made sleep very easy to wake up from.       With the normal morning ritual of being sat on and woken up by Victoria, it made her days very hard to wake up to.  Especially since she hadn't gotten much sleep in the past week.       Why you ask? Well in a few days she would turn 18. And when you turn 18 you become a full fledge adult in the pack. When you become a full fledged adult you have to find a mate. This is typically done on the night of one's birthday.       For whatever reason the mate finding made her anxious.  The Great Mother, a.k.a., Mother Nature, a.k.a, her mentor/teacher was very supportive and reassuring of the whole event.     "What worries you dear?" asked the gentle voice.     "Well Great Mother, I can't help but wonder if my mate won't like my form? I mean I am smaller than the other girls.  They are all very beautiful and tall, and while I know I am pretty I can't help but feel like I am lacking in something." Rose said with concern.     "Dear child there isn't anything about you that is lacking.  You may be small but there isn't anything else that is "lacking".  If anything I would say that you might be too shy around others. Might this be a concern of yours?" Mother Nature questioned. "We will stop for today. For now you must get some rest the time of the eclipse is at hand, and your birthday celebration will seal your bond with me.  But that isn't your only bond you will be making that night." Mother Nature paused before continuing with a smirk in her voice.  "I sense that a certain young man will be coming back in a few days time, yes?"     Rosertina dropped her head, a blush spreading across her cheeks.  She knew it was a problem but it hadn't been that bad........Waittttt did she just refer to....  Looking up through her eyelashes she saw the glimmer that came from the waterfall dance merrily. Almost as if it was laughing at her.  Turning up her nose with a huff, she turned her head away from Mother Nature's aura and began making her way to the shoreline. "Take care with your heart dearest one.  I don't want you to lose your love if the love you desire isn't the one who is meant for you."  She looked back, confused by the remark, only to find the light gone and her tattoo go back to black.  Figures.  Shifting back into her wolf once she reached the shore, allowed her a view of the rising sun.  Her wolf rolled her eyes as she then turned to Rosertina inside of her.  "The Mother Waterfall kept us up all night.....again."     "It's Mother Nature, not waterfall, Ritae."  Ritae rolled her eyes before lopping back to the pack house, exhaustedly.      As her mother was the previous Healer, she bore the symbol of the next one.  The tattoo on her arm.  Whenever she went to the river it would glow a light blue, telling her that the Great Mother was present.  No one except for a Healer could speak to her.  And being from Moonlight Serenade Pack she was the most powerful Healer in the region.  It was rumored, and believed, that Mother Nature gave the Moonlight Serenade Pack, the very first Healer the ability to communicate with her and to heal wounds and injuries that normal werewolf healing couldn't do.  Such as extract silver in any form. Whether it be liquid, a bullet, even just a solid chunk.....among other things such as the most sensitive to her surroundings.  Or she was training to be that.  And she didn't seem to be accelerating very rapidly since she still couldn't sense when her friend was going to pounce.       Now she was stuck and couldn't get up.  Running short on breath she tried one last attempt to push her friend off before Victoria decided to get up herself and skip over to the curtains. Just as she caught her breath and realized her intent it was too late.     "Victoria wait ple----------s**t!!!!" Light invaded the purposefully darkened room before Rosertina could protect her eyes.  She covered her eyes to try and slowly acclimate them to the much too bright room.       "Oh please girl come on its 6 in the morning."     "Really Sherlock I hadn't noticed." Rose's voice sounded so groggy from her late night that Victoria came over to her bed and thankfully, sat on the edge and not her stomach again.      "What time did you get in last night?" Victoria was an early riser, yet so was everyone else, except for her.       Rosertina begrudgingly looked to the clock on her night stand next to her bed and groaned when she saw the time.         Looking back at her friend who was now wearing a guilty/worried expression sat patiently waiting.       "An hour ago." She flung an arm over her eyes to shield out the light.     "AN HOUR!!!!! OH s**t!!! Im sorry so sorry." She felt the bed shake as Victoria presumably got off of it. Footsteps ran across the room. She heard the whoosh of the curtains closing since the light behind her arm dimmed dramatically and footsteps pounded quickly in the direction of her door and she heard a slight click before she took her arm away and pleasantly saw a pitch black room with no one in sight and absolute silence.  Humming peacefully she turned over back onto her stomach and went back to sleep.
