Work was going really well for the both of us, I was now working at a larger law firm, Sarah was now full time at the animal hospital; we even started talking about having kids. How many kids we would want to have, I wanted at least 3, for the time being we decided to get a dog to help us get ready. We went to a breeder and picked out a beautiful golden retriever puppy, named her Ruth after my grandmother. I guess you could say at this point our lives were perfect, we felt like we were on top of the world. If you’re thinking its time to queue the tragedy remember this is my life we are talking about, I feel like we have developed a sort of relationship and you want to hurt me like that. Well your not wrong tragedy was about to strike and it was going to be the worst day of my life. I was at work when it happened, filing the papers for the Stepgras case a particularly nasty divorce case that I would be all too happy to be done with. I was heading across the office to submit my case papers to the boss when everything went black, I felt like someone hit me in the stomach with a bag of bricks. My head started spinning, but when I looked around me they day was carrying on like nothing had happened, everything was back to normal colors and all. I had no idea what happened all I knew was something was defiantly wrong, my world was starting to flash between colors and blackness.
