"Congratulations!" we greeted each other as masteral passer. We are now professional in our field.
Nagyakapan kaming magkakaklase at masayang nagpicture kasama ang mga parents nila. Bigla ko tuloy namiss ang parents ko.
If only they were here and still alive.
"so tell me Aly are you going home now to your country?" my smile fades when I remember what I have to face when I get home.
"yes.." I answered with my nervous voice.
"don't worry when we go there I'll visit you!" she cheered that made me smile again.
Pero alam ko sa sarili ko na hindi magiging madali ang pagbalik ko lalo na at mukhang kailangan kong palaging makipagtalo sa Samaniego na yun!
A month has passed and now I have to face my responsibility. I have to go back to the Philippines and manage my family's company but before that I have to endure being with the Samaniegos.
I took off my sunglasses as I inhaled the polluted air in the Philippines.
A sun-kissed in my skin and the hot air from my country made me feel alive again. It wasn't that cold anymore like when I was on US. The cold weather there are making me more sad.
"welcome home.." I told to myself.
No one knows that I am going home today so I didn't expect someone to fetch me. But my face cringed when I saw a man leaning in his blue Mazda car. I gulp when I observe his taste of style. A pink polo shirt that despite of a girly color it looks manly to him, his hair is kind of messy and he has a gold wrist watch and I can tell that it's worth millions, I look down at his blue jeans and white shoes. Very rugged huh.
"you're late.." he said when he saw me.
Naglakad ako palapit dito kahit pa ayaw ko ay wala akong pagpipilian.
"no one told you to wait." I mocked.
His face became dark I guess because my words are offensive but I don't care.
"you should say sorry." His thick brows meets.
I shook my head and walk to call a cab.
"what are you doing?" I almost gasps when I felt his hand on my elbow gladly I controlled myself.
"calling a cab?" I said in a sarcastic way.
"and where do you think you will go?" he looked irritated on something maybe on me.
"in my house of course!" I hissed.
"I'm sorry to break it to you but your mansion is not available now.." this time he's smirking.
"what? And why is that?!" I yelled at him. Naguguluhang tinignan ko ito.
He laughed but I know he's just trying to piss me off.
"your parents sold it to me.." I was dumbfounded when he said that with his fully confident tone.
Hindi gagawin nila mom yun! Hindi nila ito magagawa sa akin diba?
"y-you jerk!" not wanting to give up I punched him in his face. He glared at me, I step back because I suddenly felt scared.
He pushed me inside his car while I'm screaming the hell out of me. No one seems to notice because no one dared to help me.
"you will live in my condo—"
"are you insane? I don't wanna be with you.." he grinned at me.
"who told you that I'm living with you? Dream on kid.." he said that while he was looking at my not so big boobs.
Tinakpan ko ito at binigyan ang m******s na lalaki ng matalim na tingin. Umiling naman ito na para bang walang magandang nakita sa akin!
Feeling insulted I think of something for my revenge.
"p*****t grandpa!" I shouted but I regret saying it when he throw me dagger looks.
Nakita ko din ang paghawak niya ng mahigpit sa manibela.
Oh God please help me!
I don't think I can still make it out alive until my two more years with this jerk is done.
Kakauwi ko lang at talagang siya pa ang una kong makikita?! Give me a break!
He didn't say anything when we stopped in front of a tall building. My jaw drop when he went outside the car. I followed and went out too.
"this is where you live?" he just gave me a smirk then he took my palm and handed his key.
"go upstairs I'm the owner of this building my unit is the penthouse, you can stay there I have another condo somewhere here—"
"you have other condo?!" shocked I bluntly said that.
He looked at me like I was some alien then shook his head probably he thinks I'm stupid for overreacting.
"I will leave you now, but tomorrow you will start working on my company.." he seriously said.
"why in your company and not in my company?" with irritation in his face he look at me.
"how will you learn how to manage that big company if your teacher will be working far from you?" he nagged.
"I can do it alone—"
"and get yourself in trouble and then what? You will ask for my help when everything is too late?" I bit my lower lip because that can happen and I know that he's good in his field but my ego won't accept it.
"fine.." I just answered.
The side of his lips rose when he heard the sound of surrender in my voice. Seems like he knows that I have no choice but to follow him and it's making my blood boil by just thinking of it.
Annoyed and upset I left him and started walking inside the building when I realize something so I went back to him.
"yes?" he raised his eyebrows waiting for my sentence.
"are you just going to stand there and not help me carry this luggage? It's heavy!" I know I sounded too girly but I want him to move his ass off so I won't have this awkward feeling because I can feel his piercing eyes on me and add that I'm tired for a long flight.
"you said that you aren't expecting someone to fetch you and now you are complaining about your luggage, suit yourself I have no time to babysit." I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw him get in to his car and drove leaving me here with my heavy things alone.
With angry and irritated face I turn around and went inside again, I am about to carry my things when a guard suddenly came.
"tulungan ko na po kayo miss.." I shook my head and refused his offer because I'm ashamed.
The guard though looked at me with his confused face.
"pero po may tumawag sa security at sabi po na you need assistance.." shock on what the guard said I look outside the building even if I know that he's not there anymore.
I hide my smile thinking that the p*****t grandpa has his own way on babysitting.
"and you said you don't babysit huh.." I whispered to myself before I gladly accept the offer of the guard.
