Chapter 6 - Hot meet

Rose looked a bit ashamed about the burst of her friend. Her cheeks were on fire! It was an awkward moment for a few seconds as Gray was watching Rose with burning eyes like the moment didn’t finish for him. Rose looked at an invisible stain on her shoe and Tia at both of them waiting for an answer. Smiling.

Gray didn’t show any remorse in the fact that he has just been found with a girl, unlike Rose. She had no idea what to explain to Tia what she was doing, who the guy was because she didn’t know eighter!

Well, her blushing advanced even more if that was possible. She did not even know the guy’s name but she was about to make out with him. She only knew he was Gray if that was his real name. Correction. She WANTED so much to make out with him. It was like for a few seconds she had lost her right mind.

Eventually Gray broke the ice.

“Nice to meet you miss...?” and he leaned a hand for Tia. Tia was looking mesmerized at him but she did not hold back to lean her hand.

“I am Laetitia, almost a sister for Rose” she continued with a small advertisement in her voice.

His eyes were sparkling maybe in amusement because he had noticed the small threat and with a subtle smile, he concluded the meeting.

“Ladies I will be on my way now,” and shock an invisible hat and addressed directly to Rose and almost intimately,

“I will see you soon, after all, we are neighbors in the same building.”

Both were looking at his back mesmerized until he disappeared after the corner.

Tia folded her arms and gave Rose a questionable look,

“I have left 30 minutes and you managed to make yourself a boyfriend?”

Rose looked at her in disbelief,

“Boyfriend? Tia, you have lost your mind!” and tried a laugh that came out a bit forced.

“You were eating each other from the eyes Rose. If I would have missed 10 minutes more probably you were beneath him, screaming. And not out of pain!”

A fast scene about what Tia just said started to take over Rose’s mind, making her hot in places that she would think about when she was alone.

She tried to answer her friend as calmly as possible because she was like a sniffing dog when it was about Rose, she could feel that something was off.

“You are imagining things, Tia. The truth is that I have spilled some water on him and we started to make fun of it.”

Tia started to laugh.

“Girl, you know I have more experience than you on these things. The guy was looking at you with a hunger in his eyes that you rarely see. You are naïve to think all was only amusement. But anyway, where you met him?” she asked.

Rose was having a hard time explaining to Tia all that happened and especially, where she meets him so she tried just to be evasive about everything and to come forward at the moment she would have clarified all the feelings and moments shared, in her mind.

“I meet him here where we stand, and that is that”.

Tia looked at her for a few seconds and raised her shoulders.

“Is ok, you can tell me when you will be ready.” She came next to her and grabbed her arm.

“Well,” she continued, “we need to dress you well. Our neighbors need to know that these two girls have a taste.” She ended with a smirk.

Rose was a bit confused by her friend, at first she seemed upset and all of the sudden now she seems to be more than ok with the idea that something might happen between her and that guy.

Like Tia could read her mind she heard her saying while they were getting their way out,

“I don’t mind if you would try something with that guy, God knows that you need a distraction, and what better distraction is love? But please, be careful. I’ve got your back if something happens but at the soul, I cannot reach.”

Rose was in shock but touched to the tears by her friend's words. She could not resist it and gave her a huge hug.

“You are the best! I cannot say you are my friend because you are so much more. You are the sister I ever wanted to have.” Rose felt a few tears that wanted to get down but felt the firm grip of Tia

“Oh no, you won't cry on me now! Maybe we will meet your prince charming/neighbor and he will say you cry over him.” Incredibly but both of them burster in laughter just picturing that improbable encounter.

Not saying any other word, they went out and from there in a taxi on the street filled with most nice shops with clothes, accessories and such. Going out of the taxi they both widen their eyes like children arriving at candy shops. Lots of them. They started to smile one at another and from there they were unstoppable.

They went for hours buying clothes, shoes, belts, and such. For Rose was a secret mission, and she wanted to see the admiration in Grey’s eyes and Tia to see the fun Rose was having played along. She was sure that taking her out would get Rose out from the dark thoughts she had the last days, being normal with the loss of her mom, but she was sure there was another small contribution that gave her a good mood.

When they finished, they both had large smiles on their faces and with a lot of bags of all dimensions, they were ready to go home. Eased and happy. Nothing a good shopping séance wouldn’t do. They were also exhausted. So exhausted that without saying a word they head home, and each one of them went into her room, mutually agreeing that they have no energy left to discuss more the day.

Rose left her bags in the middle of the room and while heading to bed she disposed of all her clothes. That was her little secret, she wanted to sleep naked. While closing her eyes the scene with her handsome neighbor appeared in front of her eyes. The thing is that now she would have continued with the kiss she knew it was hot and juicy. What she didn’t know is that a few stores above her neighbor were having the same dream, just that he had his version.
