f**k! My f*****g nose! That b***h! I should have wiped the floor with her. Zachary thought as he used the cuff of his jacket to wipe the blood away from his bloody nose. He sat straddling his black motorbike, and he adjusted the mirror so he could focus on realigning his nose himself. He made a small grunt as he forced it back into place. There was still a small scratch running across the bridge of his nose. He eyed himself in the mirror. His black hair still a bit messy after that fight, but still looked pretty damm good. Could still make panties drop, he thought, as he gave himself a smile in the mirror. He pulled out his phone and pulled up the program that was now tracking the vampire's phone. He was able to bug it and copy all the data across before she obviously had come back for it. She was making a call - a lot of calls. Lots of randomized numbers kept coming up on the screen, but the calls weren't being answered. Zachary put in his headphones to see if the program could pick up her microphone as well. It was a state of the art technology. Only certain governments in the world had access to this kind of technology; governments and the Oakes family. His family.
Pick up Pick up… Pi. The microphone was getting picked up by the program. He could hear her talking at the phone, getting frustrated as it rang out.
The ringing then stopped and the call was answered. But he wasn't able to hear who she was talking to. Just her side.
You picked up… good…ahh.. Status report.
Yup.. Yep.. Okay.. That’s not.. Okay.. Why are you.. Right I don't believe that one.
Listen I need you to lay low. Albert.. The Krsnk it's compromised. I saw him tonight and he was with a wolf.. And

She hung up. Zachary looked at the phone. O but whisper. You won't be alive to return that call, and it won't be because of your other filthy friends, he thought. I'll wait till she takes cover for the day and then slaughter her then. One less level 5 vampire to worry about. He checked his watch, a handy piece of technology his dad and grandfather created together for the family work. The watch was able to alert the wearer to the vampires in the area and graded their strength based on how much of the vampiric virus they had in their system. Level 1 was normally a freshly turned vampire, turned by a lowly level 2, unpredictable and wild, easily distracted with blood and didn't pay much attention to their surroundings. The blonde I was able to gun down tonight was a low level 1. The others were level 3, but they weren't straight forward. Something was seriously up with them. They were so grotesque. He started to recount the events of the evening. That level 5, she shot at that level 1 too though. And would have killed her if my bullet didn't get to her first. Why was she killing her own kind and someone she came with? Maybe because the blonde got to the human first. They are so f****d up.
Zachary had been training to be a vampire hunter since he was small. It was the family business, well for the firstborn son anyway. Zachary knew everything there was to know about vampires. Well, at least he thought he did, until tonight. What the f**k is a risen! And what the f**k were those other creatures, and the Krsnk? I think I have heard that before but I can't be sure, he thought. Maybe I could torture the information out of her. Mmm better not risk it. Never had one get away from me like that before. She was lucky the level 5.5 came in when he did. The watch couldn't decipher the other guy. But what did she say on the phone a wolf? Is that a code name? What is that?
Zachary fiddled with his bike helmet straps before putting it on and starting up his bike. It rumbled underneath him. Before speeding away up the streets of New York City. I might as well make my way back to the safe house before heading out to her location in the morning, he thought as he squeezed the accelerator on his bike. The engines roaring into the streets echoing off the walls of the sky scrapers as he zipped past them. The safe house in New York was a town house location on the Upper East Side. It had a gated courtyard for his bike and, of course, was a safe haven for all of his fathers - well, now his weapons. The Oakes family business- well, the more public ones were in all sectors of the economy. Those businesses were never his priority though. For the oldest son it never was. Thaddeus though, his younger brother. He was handed leadership of all the 'normal' family business, while Zack had the traditional side of the family business to attend to. Thaddeus had no idea about that family vampire hunter secret, neither did his mother. Zach preferred it though, being a vampire hunter was so much more freeing and interesting. Although it does have its risks. It has been over 4 years since his father went on a crusade to New York City, swearing he was going to end all the vampire orders here for good. Zachary had begged to go with him, but was rejected. They never heard from him again. Zachary knew vampire hunting in the United States would be much more intense than it was in the United Kingdom. And he was right. He was able to gun down one every night if not more, which never happened back home. But it just made him realize that it was one of the filthy blood suckers that must have gotten to his father and he was going to find them and make them wish they were never born.
Zach removed his helmet as he stepped into the entrance foyer of his townhouse. He got to the threshold to enter the lounge room and looked at his dirty boots. The thought of his nanny, maid, mother, tutor all telling him at every point in his life growing up to take off his dirty shoes at the door to 'not track mud into the house echoed through his head' He groaned and sat down in the armchair located in the foyer. He whipped out his phone from his pocket. I may as well go through the vampire's phone before going after her. Maybe I can find out what risen means and where her friends are, and why they want her dead. Zach wiped his nose and flinched forgetting about his injury. She was so f*****g strong and fast, it was unbelievable and she, she didn't kill me. She could have. She had the opportunity to s***h my throat, but she busted my nose instead and left in a hurry. f**k I need a drink. He stormed inside the house to grab a cold one from the fridge and cracked it open. Ignoring the voices of his past yelling at him for having his boots on indoors. The town house, as well as all the houses the Oakes Family owned around the world, were always well maintained and stocked accordingly by the family staff.
He found himself sitting on the kitchen island sipping a can of beer refreshing the map location of her phone he had bugged. It had left the wharf area and was now lingering down town. He waited patiently for the marker to stop moving around, settle in a set spot as the night started to draw to an end. But it didn't. He was perplexed. Why wasn't she taking cover?! The sun was rising soon but the tracker was still moving up and down the streets of down town. No this is. Did she not have her phone with her anymore? I'll find out for myself! He grabbed his bike helmet and headed out.
