Chapter 11

Elaine's POV

Its been almost a week since the patry and today was exactly 1week till my 18th birthday,.

I heard from aunt Lin that Noah's 21st is only two days after my 18th birthday.

With that in mind we decided to have a huge party and celebrate both or birthdays on the day in the midlle which was a Friday.

I kind of like the Idea of almost sharing my Birthday with Naoh.

Since the party we have become quite close,

we go jogging together, watched a scary movie marathon and even starting hanging out in each others rooms.

We have found we actually share alot of similar interests.

But the best of all that?

We have become inseparable.

I was worried at first, after Noah's half awkward confession, but the day after the party he wasn't weird at all and things just started to naturally flow.

Aunt Lin was weirdly very happy seeing me and Noah spending alot of time together.

Even my Dad didnt mind.

But the fact that we are like siblings...

Well I hate that word as I have noticed that I'm kind feeling weird thing towards Noah.

My heart seem to speed up when ever her touches me.

Like when he puts his arm around my waist, or like the other day my hand were full of soap while cleaning dishes, so he tied my hair for me, and when I felt his fingers lightly brushing agains my neck my whole body felt weak.

I just can't help how I feel about him.

I am brought back to reality when I heard Noah's laughter in from outside, I look out from the kitchen to see a girl next to him.

I feel my stomach turn at the sight of this girl so close to him.

But I ignored it, I turn back to my note book where I was busy writing a few thing down I needed for the party next week.

I look at Noah's name next to mine.

I look at our names next to each other and I feel all bubbly, but when I think about that girl sitting and laughing outside with Noah, I feel kind of sad.

Let's face reality, he was leaving for University after summer break and I won't see him till fall break so maybe I have just become use to Noah's presence over the last few week.

Maybe what ever happen over the summer will all be forgotten after he leaves.

I sigh at my sad thoughts ,than I hear Noah's voice becoming louder and I close my book very fast making sure Noah doesn't see it.

When I get up to leave Noah is right behind me and I almost bump into him.

"Elaine, where's your head at today?"

I look up at Noah and see the girl from earlier aslo next to him.

He smiles awkwardly,and clears his throat.

"This is Jaing Jang Xia, a friend from Bangkok."

I reached out my hand...

"o, sorry, nice to meet you I'm Elaine."

She smiles at me and nods her head before I could say anything she lock's her arms into Noah's.

My hand still hanging in the air.

"So hottie, when are you going to show me your room."

I look at Noah, who seems flushed.

"A, Yeah I'll take u up now, let's go."

Noah doesn't even look at me and places her hand in his leading her up to his room soon they disappear

I stand there in utter shock. He just held her hand, like I wasn't even there...

When did this girl come to California.

And what happened to My Noah.

I shrug at the thought of the word" My Noah".

I mean he wasn't mine, in that kind of way so why do I actually care.

I grab my bag and my dad's car keys heading out the door,When my phone goes of.

Its from Amy.

"Hey, bestie what you up to? Want to hang out today, Jason is in Washington with his mom for some family things, so I'm all alone at the apartment, come over we can catch up."

I look at the house and seeing that today Noah had company I decided to head over to Amy's

I text her back

" yeah sure, Noah seems to have company today so I'm all yours."

I send the text than trow my phone in my bag before getting into the car and driving straight to Amy's.

I needed some girl talk.

About 20 minutes later I pull up at Amy's

I head up to her Apartment.

As soon as I rang the bell Amy opens the door and jump on me.

Yeah she literally jump on me wrapping her legs around my waist.

We have become really close since the party and I have gotten use to her eccentric personally, we match quite well seeing I'm shy and she is open we complement each other.

She let's go before grabbing the plastic from my hads with one hand and the other grabbing my now free hands dragging me into her apartment.

On my way over I bought some snacks and I bottle of wine.

After the party Me, Noah, Jason and Amy had I small get together and they introduced me to whine, I mean I'll be 18 soon so way wait.

We enter the lounge and Amy heads the kitchen grabbing to glasses and an opener.

We sit on the floor unpacking everything and as soon as Amy pours me a glass I down it in one go.

"um, Okay so you neede that"

She pours me another and again I down it.

After about the forth glass Amy stops me.

"Elaine, if something is bothering u, rather speak to me, don't get drubk on me okay?"

She placed her hand on my head I look at her.

"Amy, promise me you won't laugh?"

She looks amused but nods her head

"you promised, and you can't talk about this to anyone, It can't leave this room!"

Again she nods

"I think... I'm in love with Noah."

Amy nearly spits out all her wine at my announcement.

She smile at me.

"I know, happy to see you finally figured it out girl."

I look at her puzzeled.

"How did you know? "

"I mean, I didn't even know till I saw Noah hold another girl's had... "

"what do you mean, another girl?"

" this morning before I came to you I saw Noah with A friend from Bangkok and..." her mouth hangs open for a bit then..

"You mean that Chinese stripper is in California?" now she has me hanging mouth open...

I look at Amy and realize she knew somethings about Noah's time overseas that I didnt.

I mean we talked about all the places he visited and he showed me alot of pictures but he never mentioned any girl to me, and a stripper no less.

She looks at my utter shock.

Than she leaned into me and kind of whispered to me...

"Noah's past is very dark, so just like what you said about what is spoken here today can't leave the place, I'll tell u what I know, but you didn't hear it from me."

Now I'm completely intreaged at Amy's word I look up at her and nod in agreement.

Amy starts by telling me things Jason told her about boarding school and how his(Noah's )nickname was the Virgin collecter, than she tells me about how he even had s*x with some of his teacher.

And just this little bit of info had me downing my 7th glass of wine.

She goes on tells me about all the girls he had slept with and when she gets to the part about Bangkok, I am completely all ears, she mentions to me that there is also A Girl name Elise Meyers, who apparently followed Noah all over the world including to Bangkok, when she started telling in vivid detail about what happened in Bangkok between Elise Naoh and the Chinese stripper I feel like I'm about to trow up.

I get up and run to the bathroom Amy soon follows me and hold my hair while I vomit my lungs out.

"Im sorry Elaine, but it's best you know who Noah really is before you get hurt."

And what she said makes sence I mean, I was already in love with Noah.

I look at her and smile before vomiting some more.

Now I needed to get more waisted after hear all that.

Once I'm done I wash my face and head back to the lounge , digging in my bag I find my phone, I text Aunt Lin telling her that Amy was alone and I'll be here with her till Jason returned.

I didn't wait for a reply than switch off my phone just in case Noah tried to call.

Me and Amy decide to party like there is no tomorrow we soon order all kinds of Alcohol online and the minute it arrives we start drinking, we turned up some music and danced the night away.

The next morning after breakfast at our favorite cafe we make some plans to meet up with some of Amy's friends and go clubbing tonight.

We end up shopping a bit before grabbing lunch.

After lunch we head back to Amy's to get ready.

Amy lends me a short black skirt and a candy pink top with some nice heals and a half body black leather jacket.

She also wears something similar to mine.

"Hows this?"

I ask Amy and she gives me a tumbs up.

"who did you invite tonigh?"

I can see the mischievous smile dancing on her lips.

"it's a secret."

I can't let her have her way so easy.

"Amy, no please, no surprises, I'm not good with those, you know how I feel about the unknown. "

She placed both her hands on my shoulders.

"Ell you know I love you, and I won't do something stupid to you, your are my sister, so just trust me okay?"

I look at Amy and she is right I do trust her she is my sister/bestie so I smile and decide to just go with it.

Soon we grab a cab, because we know we will be getting drunk again tonight and head to the most famous club in South California.

RAVENS CLAW

It's said this club not only has numerous dance floors for have swiming pool party's, faom party's, beach party's but also a VVIP loung for big tycoons.

We stop out front and Amy is on the phone with Jason they are video calling, Amy turn the phone to me, I see Jason and wave at him he smiles and waves back than she return to he call before ending it and making another call.

Soon Amy is waving at a group of guys and girls.

Now I feel nervous.

As soon as they approach Amy introduced them to me.

"Elaine, this is Maddie, Silvia, Nicole, Tracy and Heather,."

"Girls this is my new Bff, Elaine, so please love and respect her like I do with you all."

They All come in to hugg me telling me is nice to meet me and I notice they are all also wearing purity rings.

At the sight of those I feel kind of Relieved knowing these girls are a good bunch.

They are genuinely nice to me and before we head in Amy grabs my arm to introduce me to the boy's

She repeats the same thing but when I hear her say Owen, I look up to meet his eyes.

Yes it was my Owen, my first crush.

He has jet black hair and piercing blue eye, about 6'3 and well build.

I look at him and he hasn't changed on bit.

He snakes his arms around my waist and I place my arms around his neck.

I feel a relieve knowing Owen is here.

"God damit, Elaine, I've missed you."

I hear him say and I'm kind off surprised.

I never thought I would hear Owen say these things but in the that moment I tighten my hold on him

"I've missed you to owen, so very very much."

I pull away to look at him and see him smile he huggs me for a little longer before taking my hand as we follow the others.

At the bar me and Owen catch up taking shots in between and chatting with the others as well then Amy and the girls reach over to me and pull me to the dance floor.

I'm reluctant but Owen also encouraged me so I follow them.

We dance and jump along to the up beat music, I forget for those few seconds where I am and just enjoying this feeling...

Noah was not my problem and Owen was back.

Will I have to choose...

Or was my choice already made.
