“It’s ok baby” I didn’t take my eyes off the gun, but I could hear her crying quietly. “You are scaring my wife”

“My name is Alice , I don’t know who you are” her voice was steady and I felt a moment of pure pride.

I almost rolled my eyes. This had been the plan all along. He wanted this public spectacle.
