HMA Chapter Four

Sakari's POV

I followed Rhylie all the way outside, where Lucie was previously held but now in her place was Francesca and I couldn't help the growl that escaped my lips,

"Well well well, look what we have here."

She looked at me with fear in her eyes, "What are you going to do?"

"Wouldn't you like to know," I walked closer to her, "You need to be taught a lesson about boundaries..."

"I'm sorry!"

I laughed humourlessly, "You think sorry is going cut it? You forced yourself on my mate!"

"I didn't mean to!"

"Oh, this just keeps getting better and better."

I walked even closer and grabbed her hair, "You know what this calls for?"

She shook her head so I leaned down and whispered, "Banishment."

I let go of her hair and took a step back and that was when she started begging me, "No please don't banish me! I've learned my lesson!"

I shook my head, "I don't think you have.. Darius!"

He was by my side in a flash, "Yes?"

"What is the highest punishment other than banishment or death?"

"Starvation."

"Oh really?"

He nodded, "Are you considering it? That's a bit harsh don't you think?"

"Don't ruin what we have by taking her side Darius, you know what? Let's make it easy then."

I turned to face Francesca and the other wolves, "How about we play chase the wolf."

They all looked at me confused so I continued to explain what it was, "Francesca here hasa days head start and then we chase her, if we don't find her by the end of the week, you come back to the pack and leave her be but if we do, well, you'll find out... Trust me."

The wolves let Francesca go and she shifted and ran off into the woods and I smirked, "Let the games begin" I faced the rest of the wolves, "Dismissed!"

They all nodded and went back to whatever they were doing and I felt an arm snake around my waist which calmed me down in a matter of seconds,

"You're loving this alpha female thing aren't you?"

"I only did what needed to be done, she's lucky I didn't banish her."

"Well, technically you did."

"Yeah but this will be more fun, now where is that other slut that had her hands all over you?"

"Tina?"

"Yes her, I think she's needs to be taught a lesson for touching you."

He twisted me around and placed his hands on my waist, "I love how possessive you are over me."

"I don't like sharing."

"That makes two of us."

I smiled and he was about to lean down and kiss me when we got interrupted... Again!

"Alpha."

"Oh for frig sake, what?"

We looked at Charlie, one of the fighters of the pack, "Alastair Knight is here."

No way!

"The alpha of the dark moon pack?"

He nodded and I growled, "Why is he here?"

"Do you know him Sakari?"

I nodded, "He's Lukas' father."

Darius growled, probably because I mentioned Lukas' name, "Take us to him."

"He only wants to see the alpha."

"I don't care what he wants, she is alpha female and if he doesn't like it he can get the f**k off my territory..."

"Yes alpha."

He turned around and Darius took my hand and we followed behind him to where he was. We walked into Darius' study to see Alastair staring at some of the pictures around the room,

"I smell a second scent."

"Hello to you too Alastair."

He looked at me and smirked, "Well, if it isn't the little brat..."

Darius growled, "Do not speak about her that way."

"I was just saying, but anyway, Im here to discuss matters with the alpha."

I hated the way he put emphasis on the word 'alpha' so I decided to put him in his place, "Well, we are all alpha's here so what were you saying?"

He looked at me shocked, "He's your mate?"

I nodded, "Any complaints?"

He covered up his fear and his face went back to his usual smug look, "And here I was thinking that you truly loved my son, I guess your just a slut aren't you?"

That was when Darius lost it, his eyes turned red and he lunged for Alastair, pinning him down to the ground, "You think you can come onto my land and disrespect my mate like that? Just remember the fact that you are on my territory now and I have the power to do whatever I like to you, do I make myself clear?"

He nodded fearfully and Darius stood up and walked back over to me, he kissed the side of my head and I leaned into him.

"What is your business here?"

Alastair stood up and straightened himself out, "It has come to my attention that some of your pack members have come onto my land."

"That is not possible; you live nearly an hour away."

"Tell that to them, I've been patient so far but if I see another one of your pack members, I won't hesitate to kill them."

"You kill them and you're starting war between our packs..."

"If that's what it comes to, so be it."

"Alastair." He looked at me so I continued, "Lukas will not approve of you starting war."

"My son is not alpha, he can't stop me."

"You won't be alpha for long."

"Well, tell your boy toy to stop his pack from coming onto my land and there won't be a war."

"Call me a boy toy again, I dare you!" He looked slightly scared but yet he still decided to challenge him.

"You probably just want to get in her pants don't you?"

"I swear if you utter another word about Sakari and I will injure you so badly that it will hurt all the way to next year..."

"You probably didn't know that she still loves my son, she will never love you."

Well, that certainly did the job because the next thing I knew, Darius shifted into his wolf and I know this isn't the right time to say this but he looks hot even as a wolf. He had plain black fur with white specks and he had piercing blue eyes, long story short, he was mesmerizing. So yeah back to the matter at hand, Darius lunged for Alastair and bit into his leg and I could literally here the bone snap, well, he did warn him.

"Ahhhhh!! Son of a b***h!"

"He warned you Alastair but you didn't listen; you always have to have the last word."

He cried out in pain and I felt no sympathy for him whatsoever, "Boys!!"

In less than a minute, 3 guys ran into the room, "Escort him off the territory; I no longer want him in our sights."

They nodded and lifted him up, "You'll regret doing that!"

"f**k you."

They walked out of the room and I turned to Darius, "You can shift back now."

He gestured for me to turn around so that's what I did. I could hear drawers being opened and closed for a while.

"Okay I'm done."

I turned around to see him fully clothed again, "You keep clothes in your drawers?"

He nodded, "For incidents like that, I probably shouldn't have done that though."

I looked at him confused, "Why?"

"Our packs aren't exactly friends."

"But that was my old pack and I never knew that."

"We were acquaintances, hardly friends but now, we're probably enemies..."

"Forget him, he acts big on the outside but I've known him most of my life and he's not who he says he is."

"I still need to be on my toes, I can't have anything happening to my pack members."

He put on a face of concentration and after a few minutes it faded, "Okay, so I called a pack meeting, everyone should be gathering in the back now."

"How did you do that so fast?"

"Mind links."

"Can I do that now?"

"Well you are part of the pack so yeah, why don't you try it?" I concentrated and tried sending a message to Darius' mind.

Hello Sakari

I cut off the link and looked at him shocked, "s**t, it actually worked."

"Have you never used mind links before?"

I shook my head, "Never felt the need to."

"Well, I know a few things I'l be using it for."

He smirked and I just looked at him confused, that was until he sent me the next mind link.

"I've been a bad boy lately Sakari, why don't we just scrap the meeting so that you can punish me in my room," He said seductively and I gasped.

I was about to hit him when I realised that he was no longer in the room so I just followed his laughter all the way out into the garden.

Dirty boy.

He laughed inside my head, "Naughty girl..."

I smiled and just walked over to where he was and he wrapped his arm around my waist and addressed the crowd, "Silence!"

Everyone immediately quietened down and turned to face Darius, "First of all before I get to the matter of why I called this pack meeting I would just like everyone to know that yes, Sakari is the new alpha female and I would like everyone to treat her as such, do I make myself clear?"

"Yes alpha," The whole crowd said and I was actually quite shocked at how much authority Darius had over everybody.

"Good, now I have been informed that some of my pack members have been trespassing on the dark moon pack's territory and I'd like to find out who..."

No one stepped forward so Darius continued, "If you don't come forward now, I will find out who you are later and you will be punished."

That seemed to get through to them because all of a sudden, 8 people stepped forward, "It was us."

"I have told you time and time again never to trespass on someone else's territory and you go an disobey my order?"

They flinched at his tone of voice. "We're very sorry alpha."

"So you should be! And I know it was more than once so don't even try and pass it off as a one time thing!! I despise trespassers and you go and do it on somebody else's territory?! I have had enough!!"

I knew he was going to do something drastic so I cupped his face in my hands and as soon as he saw me his eyes went back to their normal colour.

"Calm down, they're just kids; they didn't know what they were doing."

"I've told them many times to never trespass and this is what they do?"

"I know but they probably thought it was harmless, let me handle this."

He nodded and I let go of his face and addressed the 8 culprits, "Would you like to explain to us why you decided to trespass in the first place?"

One of them nodded, "We just wanted to see what is was like and it was great the first time so we decided to do it again and we just kept on doing it, we didn't mean to disobey the alpha's order."

"You did and disobeying an alpha's order does cost, do you know that?"

They all nodded, "We know, we're really sorry."

I sighed, "Me and Darius will discuss what we'll do but for now, step back."

They all stepped back so I decided to address the pack, "I know you guys don't know me and you may not want to accept me as youur alpha female and I'm okay with that but I'd like to get to know you all, if you'd let me..."

The whole crowd nodded and I smiled and let Darius take over again, "I would just like to order everyone to stay off the dark moon territory and if by any chance I hear that anyone has stepped foot on their land, they will be severely punished, am I understood?"

"Yes alpha."

"Dismissed!"

The crowd dispersed into separate directions and Darius turned to face me with a proud smile, "You handled that so well Kari."

I smiled, "I was pretty nervous."

"Nervous? You were an expert, better than me actually..."

"Well yeah, even I knew that."

He laughed and grabbed my waist, "I doubt we'll be interrupted now."

"Kiss me then."

He leaned down to kiss me and for once, we didn't get interrupted. He bit my bottom lip and at first I teased him and didn't let him in but he was getting impatient so I parted my lips for him and the way he managed to add

so much passion into the kiss but still keep it soft and gentle is beyond me but I loved it.

I pulled away from him, "New record."

He smiled, "Is it? I could've sworn the kiss in your bedroom was longer, how about we try and beat that?"

I playfully hit his chest, "You're so perverted.

"It's not perverted if you're my girlfriend."

I raised an eyebrow at him, "I don't recall you asking me to be your girlfriend."

"You're my mate so you're automatically my girlfriend."

"Fine, don't ask me but don't expect me to kiss you..."

I walked off into the kitchen but I stopped in my tracks when I heard him shout out to me.

"Sakari Cascella, will you be my girlfriend?!"

I turned around and walked back outside to see him on one knee smiling at me.

"So, what do you say?"

I smiled at him and nodded, "Of course, I'll be your girlfriend."

He stood up and walked over to me so that he could kiss me and I wrapped my arms around his neck before pulling away and looking into his eyes.

"Did your parent's tell you that you start sixth form tomorrow?"

"I start what?"

"I'll take that as a no then. You start sixth form tomorrow but don't worry I go to the same one, Ill make sure I'm transferred into all of your classes..."

"Why?"

"So I can keep an eye on some of the guys there, I don't want anyone ogling my girlfriend."

"What about me? I'm sure that there are plenty of girls that will be drooling over my boyfriend."

"Probably but I have you now and you're way sexier than those other girls." I bit my bottom lip and blushed and Darius kissed me again.

"Such a sexy gesture," He said against my lips and I just smiled against his and continued to kiss him back.

I am and continued to kiss him back. I am dreading school tomorrow but I know it will be fun but now that I have Darius, I'll be making sure to keep an eye on any girl that decides to flirt with my mate.
