ANITA POV “I will be waiting for you out here till your done. You better listen to your teacher okay?” I pat his blonde hair then adjusted his shirt properly. With a huge grin on his face, Kinn answered “Okay Nita. When we close from school, I will introduce my friends to you.” “Bye my little man.” I waved then watched him as he entered his classroom. I left the school building and sat down in a garden where I waited for him to be done with school. Yes I know it is going to take so long for school to be over but I rather sat out here to wait for him than to go back to the alpha’s house. “But shouldn’t we be worried that they might find out the information they are looking for?” Ari asked. “What information?” I asked her. “You heard what they said. They have already assigned a private investigator to find out everything about you. What if they find out about our past?” she asked. “I really don’t care if they get information about my true identity and how I lived my life. None of that really matter to me. I didn’t commit murder so I am not a criminal. Nothing is going to happen to me. I will be fine. Except they will want to send me away.” “Anita I know you are trying to be str……” I cut her halfway not allowing her to finish what she had to say. “I am not trying here. This is me giving up because I am exhausted. I am tired of everything to be honest. I can’t keep on running just so I can survive. I can’t keep hiding. It’s not my fault I am born an omega. I will never hate myself for being who I am. So I really don’t care what the alpha king, his beta, his gamma or his people would do to me.” I sounded so confident and it felt so good letting those words out. “But we need to be careful. Especially with how you talk to them.” she advise. “I will try my best although I don’t like how they disrespect me.” “Are you forgetting that you were disrespected in your parents house yet you never said anything. You always kept it in. So why are you acting differently in this pack?” she asked. “I honestly have no idea why I am so bold to talk back at these people. Or could it be that I am adapting to the behaviour of a rogue?” I questioned. “I don’t think so. It could be something different. Well it doesn’t really matter now. All that matters is tame your tongue.” she sounded like I was a child and she is my mother. I kept talking to her because she is the only one I had to talk too and I didn’t want to feel lonely. When it was time for school to close, I went inside to pick Kinn. I stood in front of the class and waved at him. He happily stood up with his school bag and began to run towards me. “KINN COME BACK HERE NOW.” his teacher instructed in a loud voice making the kid to be startled. He turned to look at her. “But teacher, my nanny is here to take me home.” he told her. “I don’t know this nanny of yours so you I can’t just allow you go out with anyone.” the teacher answered eyeing me. I let out a sigh because I didn’t know what next to do. I know she is just doing her job as a teacher. She has never seen me before so she is concerned for her student’s safety so I can’t agrue with her. And unfortunately, I don’t have a phone nor alpha Zain’s phone number. How do I explain this properly? “Teacher please let me go. I want to join my nanny.” Kinn begged as his eyes began to water. “I am only trying to protect you from a rogue. Till I am sure your dad sent her, you are staying here.” “Don’t call my Nanny a rogue. She isn’t a bad person. She is sweet and nice.” Kinn defence’s me. “Kinn it is alright. I am fine. Teacher I can tell you are just doing your work, how about you call his dad to confirm who I am to Kinn. That way we won’t be having this issue.” I advised her softly. She kept standing then her eyes suddenly changed colours. She was mindlinking the alpha. I waited for her to be done. Although I wanted to know what she was talking about with him. “Kinn you can leave but be careful around her.” the teacher finally moved around letting Kinn to go. I thanked her and left with him. “Nita I hope you were not hurt by what my teacher said?” my little man asked. “Of course not. She is a good teacher because she doesn’t know me and she thought I was going to harm you. She is only protecting you.” I answered. “I am glad we are now going home together.” he smiled and held my hand as we walked to his house. As we entered, Clara was waiting for us with a troubled look on her face. “The Alpha sents for you to meet him at his office. I will take over from here and take care of Kinn.” she said then went upstairs with Kinn. I found my way around and got to his office. I opened this door without knocking and walked in. “You sent for me.” He raised his head and the first thing I noticed was he was angry. “What the hell did you do in Kinn’s school?” he asked angrily. I got confused to this question. I didn’t do anything. I only stayed at the school to wait for him and when it was time to leave the teacher didn’t allow me to take him. I didn’t do anything wrong. “I am sorry but I am lost here. I did not do anything in his school. I only picked him up and that’s all.” I answered. He stood up and walked to me surrounding me with his aura which began to choke me. He grabbed my chin and pressed it hard like he wanted to dislocate my jaw. “You are acting clueless right? What do you take me for? A fool to trust a rogue? I can never trust the words that comes out from your mouth so you either tell me the truth or you will be punished.” he warned me. His words made me feel so sad. They made me understand that no matter what I do, he will never trust me. “I have no idea what I did wrong. So why don’t you tell me then since you think of me as a liar.” I told him. “What did you do to Kinn’s teacher?” he asked. “Huh? What do you mean what did I do to Kinn’s teacher?” I asked in confusion. “She told me everything. How you abused her just because she was doing her job.” “She said what?”
