I know I am supposed to stay here with Seraphine but I can't leave Malekais' mom up at the pack house alone. She should've been here already. If they decide to raid the house they will kill her. I would never forgive myself. I can only hope our new Luna is forgiving, when she finds out I ditched her.

I slip out the front door as Seraphine and Dr. Baldwin talk about shelter protocols. I go running across the grass towards the pack house. Halfway there I hear something behind me and skid to a stop.

Before I can turn completely around I am yanked up off of my feet by my hair. I gasp, my eyes watering from the pain.

"Maybe we can have some fun with this one." A deep raspy voice says.

"She smells like chocolate. I wonder if she tastes like it." A second much squeaker voice says laughing.

Fuck. Of course I've been caught, and we don't wanna talk about what you smell like you asshole. The huge i***t holding me by my hair drops me and grabs me roughly by my arm.

It's then I am able to see them both. Huge, dirty, scruffy looking rogues. "You've got to be kidding me." I say sarcastically. "Don't you dumpsters take showers?" I ask rhetorically.

A rough handed slap to my face is my apparent answer. "Shut up b***h, or you'll be sorry." The rogue who has my arm says angrily.

I snort, trying not to laugh. "Um yeah too late dumbass." I say. I receive another hard slap to the face, before he begins dragging me through the grass.

"Keep it up you stupid b***h. We can just kill you instead." The rougue who is dragging me says angrily.

Seriously this fucker wants a thank you for getting rapey instead of killing me. If I wasn't pregnant I swear to goddess I'd rather be killed.

I really need to get out of this, but I have to be careful. This baby means everything to Malekai, and to me. I listen to these two dumbass ogres discuss who gets to have me first for about a minute when I decide to just try and fight back.

I kick the back of the leg of the rogue dragging me as hard as I can. It causes him to trip falling to his knees. I laugh and he turns and grabs me around the neck. He tries to kiss me and I quickly slam my forehead into his.

He releases me and grabs at his face screaming all sorts of nasty words at me. I laugh again and this time receive a painful sucker punch to the mouth splitting my lip.

"Damnit you asshole!" I scream at him wiping blood from my lip.

The rogues both grab one of my arms and one of them says, "After were done you stupid cunt, you'll wish you were dead." They both laugh at me and yank me off my feet aggressively dragging me towards the packhouse.

Im starting to think I might actually be in trouble, when all of a sudden I hear screaming. I can turn my head just enough to see Seraphine. Holy s**t! She came looking for me. The relief I feel cannot be measured.

These fuckers are in trouble now, and she looks pissed. I smirk, that's my bestie! Seraphine is screaming loudly at them, running towards us.

"GET AWAY FROM HER!" Her voice loud and clear.

One of the rogues realeses me and yells to Seraphine, "You tiny little b***h! What are you gonna do?" he says laughing.

When she reaches us she looks at me for a moment and her whole face changes in anger, her eyes become dark. She begins to shake. "WHICH ONE OF THEM HIT YOU?" She screams to me, her voice different somehow.

They both did, but at this point I want the fucker still holding my arm to let go, so I point at him.

"Close your eyes bestie." She says to me loudly.

"What?" I ask her momentarily confused. There is no way I am closing my eyes. It doesn't matter, she didn't give me enough time anyway.

Where there was once a dirty rogue, with his meaty hand gripping my arm, there is now a cascade of blood and chunks. The rogue, or at least what's left of the him splatters across my front and covers the other rogue.

The other rogues face is covered in blood, and he is completely horrified. I'm surprised he doesn't piss himself, he is so afraid.

Seraphine turns to face him still raging, and screams words I don't understand at him.

I watch as he folds nearly in half, falling forward onto the ground. The loud crunch of the bones in his legs being audibly broken.

He howls loudly in pain but Seraphine is having none of it. She kicks him hard. "SHUT UP!" She screams at him nearly in his face. She looks at me, her face a mix of concern and raw anger.

"Do not ever scare me like that again Angie." Seraphine says to me breathing hard. I feel horrible, but before I can apologize we begin to hear fighting behind Seraphine somewhere in the distance.

I have become afraid for my mate. If Seraphine is capable of stopping this fight she has to try. "Luna, you have to stop them." I say to her sounding more afraid then I had intended.

"What do I do?" Seraphine asks me, determination in her voice. I smile at her, suck in a breath and say seriously, "Do what you are meant to do Seraphine. Find Alexander." Seraphine nods at me, and exhales deeply. She turns for a moment looking around.

She puts up both her hands and I hear her shout out something about the Alpha and just as if she had never been standing there, she disappeared.

"Holy s**t!" I say loudly in surprise. I hope to Goddess she finds him quickly. I hear the rogue whimperng behind me and I turn around. I step toward him ready to kick the broken legged fucker when I see Malekais' mother jogging towards me with a stupidly large kitchen knife in her hand.

"I just stare at her, smiling and shaking my head. "Are you all right my dear? Oh no, did he do that to your face? I can cut something important off of him, if you like." She says angrily kicking the rogue and stepping back.

He screams loudly in anger and pain. "You stupid old-." I didn't let him finish his sentence. I punch him full force in the jaw, effectively stopping him from speaking.

I sigh loudly. "Don't talk s**t to her, in fact if you speak again I swear to goddess I will let her kill you. f*****g try me." I tell him as seriously as I can sound. He looks pissed. He snarls and opens his mouth, but quickly closes it without saying a word.

I exhale, genuinely glad he has chosen to keep his stupid mouth shut. Im too tired to punish him, or put up with his crap right now.

I stare at the broken rogue for a second and realize we we're gonna have to get his stinky, heavy ass over to the hospital. I really don't want to touch him.

I look at Malekais' mom and say "Do you think you could help me get him over to the hospital? Our Alpha, and Beta will have questions for him. I'm sure of it." I say smirking, knowing full well when my Alpha and my mate get a hold of him it won't go well. For him.

"Sure Angie my dear. No problem." Malekai’s mom says smiling evilly at the rogue.

I sigh and say to her, "Goddess, Malekai is going to be pissed at us both."

For some reason this seems funny to her. She starts laughing and says, "I am alright with that Angie dear, because it means we're still alive to be angry at!"

I smile and start laughing too, as we begin dragging this heavy freaking rogue across the grass. Malekai’s mother makes sure to drop him every once in a while, pretending he is too heavy so we could enjoy his discomfort, when he hits the ground.

Stupid, dirty rogue growls and whines the entire way, but manages to keep from running his trashy mouth.

We reach the hospital doors and I jerk them open, slamming one of them into the rogues broken legs. He screams loudly, shooting daggers at me with his eyes, but says nothing. He growls angrily at me and I look at him, and smirk. I say to him quite plainly, with as much hate as I have in me, "You came to my house you piece of s**t. Never forget that."

We drag him inside and down the hall. I mind link Dr. Baldwin and tell him to open the shelter door, that Mrs. Leoni and I need help. He's surprised by the fact I can link him. I briefly explain to him what's happend.

We hear him disengage the lock, he opens the door quickly and helps me drag the rogue inside. He pulls Malekais' mother inside and reengages the lock on the door.

The Doctor puts the rogue in a room at the other end of the shelter until he can be moved to a emergency equipped room. Dr. Baldwin checks out Malekais mom and then comes to check me out.

"Angie, how's your head?" He asks me, checking my vision."Are you in any pain? Did they harm you anywhere else, or do anything to you that could hurt the baby?" He asks me clearly afraid they had raped me.

I shake my head "No Doc, They didn't get the chance. Our Luna stopped them." I tell him, feeling pride, for Seraphine.

Dr. Baldwin nods smiling, and says, "You'll have to tell me about it later Angie." I nod back to him as he shuffles off into the back to check on the broken rogue.

People begin to wander over, asking me about the him. I tell everyone the truth. I make sure everyone knows what Seraphine did. She blew up a tresspassing rogue, and broke another to save me. I want everyone to know how amazing our Luna is. Everyone will see for themselves soon enough, but it was worth something to me telling the story a few times.

I walk the length of the shelter a couple times, trying to keep busy, and keep my mind from going crazy. It's not helping. If I hadn't been pregnant I wouldn't even be here. I'd be fighting alongside my mate, watching his back. Malekai promised me he'd mind link me the second it is over. I hate this part, the waiting. They better be okay.
